The 2-2 Green Bay Packers travel west to take on the 1-3 Los Angeles Rams in an NFC Conference battle. The Packers got franchise quarterback Jordan Love back last week and responded with a big fantasy performance against Minnesota. Love did not miss a beat passing for 389 yards and four touchdowns. The Rams are reeling down their top two options in the passing game and have lost three of four to start the 2024 season. We want to provide you with some ancillary DFS options outside the obvious starts like Jayden Reed and Kyren Williams.
Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams DFS Start ‘Ems
Here are a few of the players that we are leaning on heavily in this game. These players are in a good spot to put together a solid performance and have a favorable matchup.
Dontayvion Wicks ($5k DraftKings and $5.9k Fanduel)
I am getting this guy everywhere in my season-long fantasy leagues. Wicks blew up last week and no we do not expect 13 targets every week but he is such a big play threat. With Christian Watson getting hurt last week, Wicks had a 24% target share, 40% of the air yards, and 1.86 yards per route run. As long as Watson remains out, Wicks is a weekly fantasy starter in a pass-heavy offense under Jordan Love. Playing alongside Reed also frees him up to go deep with no safety help over the top.
Jordan Whittington ($4.6k DraftKings and $5.4k Fanduel)
Wittington is the Rams wideout with the most upside in our opinion. He is another player I am acquiring in season-long leagues until Kupp and Nacua return. Last week he was used full-time and like Wicks excelled in air yards, and target share yards per route run. In week four, he had a Rams-best eight targets for six catches for 62 yards.

On the flip side of things, here are a few of the players we recommend sitting in this one.
Demarcus Robinson ($4.8k DraftKings and $5.5k Fanduel)
Last week, Robinson fell to fourth in the Rams receiver pecking order. He was fourth in target share and yards per route run. There are too many other DFS options that rank much higher so he is a sit for us in week five.
Colby Parkinson ($3.7k DraftKings and $5.1k Fanduel)
Green Bay is not great against the tight end position but Parkinson is TE20 in PPR. On the season, Parkinson has 12 receptions in four games for 113 yards. There are far better DFS options to choose from in this game.
Total Apex Lock of the Game
Jordan Love ($6.5k DraftKings and $8.2k Fanduel)
Easy decision here to use Jordan Love as our lock, the Green Bay likes to throw the ball and this sets up a potential fantasy bonanza. In just two starts Love is averaging a robust 44 pass attempts per game and is top 10 in passing touchdowns. If we are starting Reed and Wicks, then by the math alone Love is a must-start.
Total Apex Fade of the Game
Romeo Doubs ($5,4k DraftKings and $5.7k Fanduel)
This is a tough call on who to fade in this game, especially when it comes to the Packer’s talented wide-receiving core. We feel Doubs is the third-best option behind Reed and Wicks. Tucker Kraft was also a big factor last in the passing game with nine targets. Doubs is overall WR62 in PPR after four weeks and has only 12 catches. Again, we view Doubs as a fade not necessarily a sit, and may underwhelm this week.
Conclusion
The Packers-Rams game features a 48.5 implied total which is third-best on the fantasy slate. Both teams feature offensive-minded head coaches and excellent playcalling philosophies that breed fantasy points. Plenty of DFS options across the board to use in this match-up. The one difficulty in this game is dissecting the Packer’s passing offense having played only half their games with Jordan Love under center.
