The Green Bay Packers (6-6) travel to MetLife Stadium to battle the New York Giants (4-8). The Packers are coming off a 27-19 win over the Chiefs at Lambeau Field last week. The Giants are coming off their bye week and defeated the Patriots 10-7 in their last game. Green Bay owns a 29-24-2 all-time record against the Giants, but in their last meeting in 2022, New York secured a 27-22 road win.
Jordan Love has been absolutely on fire over the past several games, and Tommy Devito has the coaches saying he has earned the right to be the starter. New York’s defense has been decent this, while the Packers’ defense has been on a tear lately. But who are we starting in our DFS lineups in this Monday Night battle?

The Packers enter this as the obvious favorite, and the O/U indicates a relatively low-scoring game. New York does have a home-field advantage, but outside of that, they are facing a red-hot team right now. Green Bay has won three games in a row and has key victories over Detroit and Kansas City in that stretch. On the other side, the Giants are 2-1 in their last three games, having defeated the Commanders and Patriots, while getting obliterated by the Cowboys.
Green Bay’s hope of winning the NFC North is still alive, while the Giants are just looking to finish above .500. After being criticized for most of the season, Packers DC Joe Barry has his defense humming and looking legit. New York’s HC Brian Daboll has done a decent job keeping his team competitive despite all the injuries this team has endured this season. But enough of the background, let’s dive in and see who to start and who to sit in this game.
Packers vs. Giants Must Starts
Jordan Love: (DK- $6,000/FD- $16,000)
Love has been on an absolute tear over his three games, scoring over 20 fantasy points each. He has thrown eight touchdowns and no interceptions during that stretch while throwing for 857 yards and rushing for 49 yards. This Giants’ defense against the pass ranks 20th and gives up 228.3 passing yards per game. They have allowed 14 passing touchdowns this season and now face Love, who has been coming into his own as the starter in Green Bay. Fire up Jordan Love as a must-start in this one, as he will likely have a monster game against a less-than-stellar secondary.
Jayden Reed: (DK- $4,700/FD- $10,000)
Jayden Reed has a solid start to the season catching 40 passes for 513 and six touchdowns. He is averaging 11.5 fantasy points per game and with Christian Watson out for this one, Reed will be more involved in the Packers offense attack. Over his last three starts he is averaging just over 13 FPPG and six targets per game. You could easily use Romeo Doubs as a viable option, but I think Reed, with no Watson, will be more profitable against this Giants defense.
Saquon Barkley: (DK- $7,100/FD- $16,500)
The Giants offense, although very limited, runs through Barkley. For anyone who knows anything about DFS, volume is key when deciding who to start and sit, especially in ShowDowns. He is averaging 16.3 FPPG, but over his last three games, he had 6.2 and 7.1 outings. He did squeeze a 30 point performance in between those two dud performances.
Barkley faces a Green Bay defense that allows 136.3 rushing yards per game and gave up 11 rushing touchdowns this season. The Packers’ run defense ranks 30th in the league, opening the door for him to put together a decent game. Saquon has rushed for 697 yards and scored five touchdowns this season. His price is too high, but his volume will pay off in this one.
Packers vs. Giants Sits and Fades
Tommy Devito: (DK- $5,100/FD- $13,500)
I know you are probably thinking I am crazy, but just listen. DeVito is averaging 16.10 FPPG over his last three starts and now faces a Packers defense that ranks 10th against the pass. His offensive line is not good, and he has been sacked 28 times this year. The Packers have done a good job getting to the quarterback this year.
If DeVito doesn’t have time to scan the field, he will commit more errors than you want from one of your players. He averages 174.3 passing yards per game over his last three games and has six touchdowns with one interception. I am fading sitting him in this one, considering how well the Green Bay defense has been playing lately.
Jalin Hyatt: (DK- $3,400/FD- $7,500)
Hyatt has been non-existent this year and is coming off a breakout game against New England, where he had five receptions for 109 yards. Don’t let this outlying performance fool you into starting him in this one. Consistency is key, and even with that performance, he only averages 4.4 FPPG. That is not the kind of player you want in your lineup. If you want to start any of these Giants receivers, I would roll with Wan’Dale Robinson, who averages 7.1 FPPG.
Sleeper of the Game
Tucker Kraft: (DK- $3,000/FD- $7,000)
Tucker Kraft has been quietly a solid value player over the last three weeks. He is averaging 7.13 FPPG, and with Watson ruled out, I see him being Jordan Love’s security blanket in this one. He is a big-bodied tight-end who has good hands. Kraft will likely have low ownership, and in this game, I see him producing 7-12 fantasy points. Last week against Kansas City, he had six targets, which is likely what he will see in this one.
