1) Rublev vs. Tiafoe

Frances Tiafoe is set to take on Andrey Rublev in what looks to be an exciting match. Tiafoe has had a tough year, he now aims for a comeback on home turf, relying on his powerful serve and vibrant play. On the other hand, Rublev has experienced a season of highs and lows. He will rely on his aggressive baseline game and heavy hitting to win.

Tiafoe’s agility and unusual play style could surprise Rublev, conversely, Rublev’s relentless groundstrokes might prove too much if he’s in form. The match promises to be at the very least entertaining.

Our Pick: Tiafoe

2)Korda vs. Thompson

The DC Open quarterfinal we´ll cover is the match between Sebastian Korda and Jordan Thompson.  Korda has been strong and consistent this season, based on this he could be a worthy contender. On the other hand, Thompson who is known for his gritty play and aggressive style, will look to push Korda to the limit.

Overall, It’s going to be an interesting match with Korda’s finesse against Thompson’s determination. And it is up for grabs without a clear favourite.

Our Pick: Korda

3) Cobolli vs. Michelsen

Our 3rd  DC Open quarterfinal match features Francesco Cobolli and Lucas Michelsen.  Cobolli, known for his steady and determined play, will try to control the game. Meanwhile, Michelsen, who is just getting started with his career, will look to make things tough for Cobolli to try and reach the semi-finals.

Overall, It looks to be an interesting match any of the players can take, all for a spot in the semifinals.

Our Pick: Cobolli

4) Shapovalov vs. Shelton

For our final DC Open match, Denis Shapovalov squares off against Ben Shelton. Shapovalov is probably one of the most talented yet inconsistent players on tour, yet he´s made it this far, with his flashy style and powerful shots, he will aim to dominate the match. Shelton, on the other hand, is known for his big serves and athleticism and will be looking to match Shapovalov’s intensity. Expect a high-energy clash with plenty of exciting rallies and strong serves as both players battle for a place in the semifinals.

Our Pick: Shelton

DC Open Quarterfinals: Women

5) Dolehide vs. Anisimova

In the DC Open quarterfinals, Caroline Dolheide takes on Amanda Anisimova. Dolheide, with her strong and steady play, will look to challenge Anisimova. Anisimova, who is known for her aggressive and dynamic style, will aim to dominate on the court.

This matchup seems to be more exciting than it lets on, with Dolheide’s consistency facing off against Anisimova’s power and flair, one could say it is an evenly-matched encounter. You can expect an engaging and competitive battle as both players justle for a spot in the semifinals.

Our pick: Dolehide

6) Sabalenka vs. Azarenka

Aryna Sabalenka will take on  Victoria Azarenka in what looks to be a thriller for the DC Open. Sabalenka will bring her powerful game to the court, looking to hit hard and fast to shock Azarenka. Conversely, Viktoria, with her mix of experience and smart play, will try to outmaneuver Sabalenka.

Overall, It’s always a fun match when 2 former world number 1´s clash.

Our pick: Sabalenka

7) Raducanu vs. Badosa

Emma Raducanu faces Paula Badosa in the 3rd ladies’ QF. Raducanu will be looking to maintain her strong recent form, while Badosa will aim to break a long losing streak and turn her career around, maybe this title can help her.

All things considered, It’s going to be a very even contest and an engaging match. You can certainly expect a competitive and entertaining showdown.

Our Pick: Raducanu

8) Montgomery vs. Bouzkova

For our last QF match, Emma Montgomery takes on Marie Bouzkova. Montgomery will be excited to continue her recent success and show off her game. On the other side, Bouzkova who is known for her consistency and clever play, will look to challenge Montgomery and make the most of her opportunities. the question is, Who can take the title?

Our Pick: Montgomery
