Another week is starting and so is the new MLB slate of games. Today, we will have lots of MLB DFS action this Monday. In a 12-game slate of baseball action, one of the feature games will be the San Diego Padres facing the Atlanta Braves tonight. Another featured game will be the Seattle Mariners, going to Baltimore against the Orioles.
In the second to last week of May, this week will include potential all-stars in action along with underdogs. There also could be some sleepers that could help your DraftKings fantasy teams too. With the MLB season in full swing, this second to last week in May could help your MLB DFS league get a win to start the week.
With May almost ending, fantasy owners will need a lot for MLB DFS to get some wins before the end of the month.
May 20th MLB DFS Starts
SP Dean Kremer, Baltimore Orioles at St. Louis Cardinals ($7,700 – DraftKings)
In his last start, Dean Kremer pitched 5.2 innings and struck out ten but gave up three earned runs. Kremer took the loss but was effective in striking people out during the loss.
This Monday, Kremer will face a weak line-up in the Cardinals and could have a great game at St. Louis. Kremer is having a good season and could do well later today against a disastrous Cardinals team.
1B Jon Singleton, Los Angeles Angels at. Houston Astros ($3,500 – DraftKings)
While the Astros are getting hot again at the right time, Jon Singleton is one of the reasons why. In the win, Singleton went 2-4 driving in two RBIs against the Brewers.
Jon Singleton has been having a good season getting four home runs, and 12 RBIs. Even with a weak batting average, Singleton has been stepping up for the Astros line-up. This week MLB DFS could get a win, starting Jon Singleton.
3B Jordan Westburg, Baltimore Orioles at St. Louis Cardinals ($4,900 – DraftKings)
Jordan Westburg this season is breaking out as a star for the Orioles. Westburg in the win against the Mariners was 1-4 with a run. With the Orioles on a hot streak right now, getting one of their hotter hits could get a win today.
Baltimore would be facing a Cardinals team that is coming off losing five of their last ten so it will be easy for the O’s hitter.
May 20th MLB DFS Sits
OF Jazz Chisholm Jr, Milwaukee Brewers at. Miami Marlins ($5,100 – DraftKings)
The Miami Marlins superstar could be facing a cold streak in this series. After having a good series with the Mets, Chisholm went 0-4 in the series finale Sunday. Miami’s star would be facing a good team with quality pitchers, which he will struggle against.
While the Marlins star hitter is getting warm again, he will face a difficult challenge this week. Chisholm should be in the sitting block for this week’s MLB DFS games.
OF Alex Kirilloff, Minnesota Twins at. Washington Nationals($3,500 – DraftKings)
Minnesota’s hitting woes are affecting the team greatly this season, and Alex Kirilloff is one of them. Kirilloffwent 0-3 in the loss against the Guardians, and had one hit in his last 11 at-bats.
Alex Kirilloff has been a liability on the plate and the field during this rough stretch of Twins baseball. If you want to win your MLB DFS game this Monday, don’t even think about the Twins hitting, especially Kirilloff.
OF Randy Arozarena Boston Red Sox at. Tampa Bay Rays ($4,400 – DraftKings)
Randy Arozarena is having a nightmare season for his batting average. He went 0-4 in Sunday’s loss against the Blue Jays. The Rays star is having an inconsistent season and Tampa Bay needs him now, especially with June coming up.
For fantasy users, on the MLB DFS, Arozarena should be avoided at all costs. Even with a strong game, he will be cold again, and it will get annoying for fantasy players.
May 20th MLB DFS Best Stack
For the start of the new week, the best stack to have set today will be Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson. With Rutschman returning to the lineup after resting Sunday, it could reignite the offense. Rutschman has been hitting well this season and could have a great game today.
Gunnar Henderson has also been hitting the ball well this season with a home run Sunday. Henderson’s development to being one of the top hitters this season has been spectacular to see unfold. With the Cardinals pitching being a disaster this season, this duo could get you a stack win for Monday’s MLB DFS.
