With the new week of MLB action starting the MLB slate of games will be tremendous for MLB DFS action. Today, we will have lots of fantasy action on this Tuesday with a 15-game slate of baseball action, with one of the feature games being the Arizona Diamondbacks going to LA to face the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight. Another featured game will be the Atlanta Braves, going to Windy City to face the Cubs.
On the second day of this second to last week of May, it will have fantasy all-stars action for your DFS pools today. There also could be some sleepers that could help your DraftKings fantasy teams too. The MLB season will get hotter with the weather warming up and could help your MLB DFS league get a winning streak going for this week.
With May almost ending, fantasy owners will need a lot for MLB DFS to get some wins this Tuesday before Memorial Day weekend.
May 21st MLB DFS Starts
SP Gavin Stone, Arizona Diamondbacks at Los Angeles Dodgers ($7,900 – DraftKings)
With the Dodgers on a torrent streak, Gavin Stone could be a key starter for the next couple of starts. In his last start, Gavin Stone pitched 6.0 innings, striking out two and allowing one run.
Gavin Stone will be facing a beleaguered Diamondbacks team suffering a hangover after winning the pennant. Stone could do well against the struggling line-up. Gavin Stone is the hot hand and could win your MLB DFS game
1B Anthony Rizzo, Seattle Mariners at. New York Yankees ($3,500 – DraftKings)
With the Yankees being one of the best teams right now, picking one of their slept hitters could do well tonight. Anthony Rizzo has been hitting the ball well with a 2-4 game in Monday’s loss against the Mariners.
Even with the loss, the Yankees first baseman has been red hot lately. With the Yankees lineup hot, getting the cheap but reliable Rizzo could help you win an MLB DFS pool today.
SS Gunnar Henderson, Baltimore Orioles at St. Louis Cardinals ($5,900 – DraftKings)
Gunnar Henderson is getting his groove on for the Orioles’ young core and is hitting the ball well. Henderson in his last game, went 1-3 with a three-run home run in the loss against the Cardinals.
With facing a dreadful pitching staff in the Cardinals, Henderson could easily get another hot streak going. While they lost the game Monday, Henderson is still a hot bat for tonight’s MLB DFS pools.
May 21st MLB DFS Sits
1B Paul Goldschmidt, Baltimore Orioles at St. Louis Cardinals ($3,900 – DraftKings)
Paul Goldschmidt is having a horrible season by his standards and is getting worse. In the win against the Orioles, Goldschmidt went 0-4 being a non-factor. While owners are still weary of Goldschmidt, yes avoid this man at all costs.
This season has been a nightmare for Goldschmidt and it will get worse. Goldschmidt might have cost people MLB DFS games and should be avoided.
P Jon Gray, Texas Rangers at. Philadelphia Phillies ($7,000 – DraftKings)
While the Rangers pitcher is having a good season, is facing a nightmare lineup in the Phillies. In his last start, Gray pitched 6.1 innings striking out three and giving up no runs.
While that was against a decent Guardians line-up, he is facing against a top-heavy Phillies team. It could be a long day for Jon Gray if things don’t go right which I think needs a sit for now.
1B Joey Meneses Minnesota Twins at. Washington Nationals ($3,300 – DraftKings)
The Nationals are in a tricky spot this season due to their young hitting, and Joey Meneses is doing fine. Washington’s first baseman stats this season is nothing to write home about but could improve as the Summer is coming.
Meneses went 2-5 in the game against the Twins on Monday but was not encouraging to fantasy owners. For the MLB DFS pools to go perfectly, I would have Joey Meneses to be on the bench for now.
May 21st MLB DFS Best Stack
For the best MLB DFS stack this Tuesday night, I would go with Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber. The Phillies have been hot this season and the hitting of Bryce and Schwarber have been a part of it. Philly’s hitting has been electric to see for fans, and the power bats of Bryce Harper could do well against the Rangers pitching tonight.
Along with Harper’s bat, is the return of Kyle Schwarber and his wrecking ball power. Schwarber had been out of the line-up but is back with a vengeance. He could have a monster game against the Rangers. Tonight could be a long one for the Rangers pitching staff due to this power duo stack and for MLB DFS pool players tonight.
