Jack Hermansson and Joe Pyfer headline the main event at UFC Vegas 86. Even though it is his first fight in a while for the Norwegian fighter, it will be anything but a welcomed return to action. Additionally, the American will be going after his sixth stoppage win in a row.
However, is there any avenue for the underdog to get you some value either in betting or in fantasy?

Jack Hermansson comes in as a decided underdog against the favorite Joe Pyfer. However, the middleweight is not going to go down easy. Despite taking nearly two years off, he has the experience to make this closer than anticipated. Also, he has a slightly longer reach and is not afraid to exchange blows. Although many are favoring the American, it shouldn’t surprise anyone if he pulls off the upset.
Joe Pyfer
Nationality: American

Height: 6’2”
Reach: 75”
Weight: 185

Record: 12-2-0

Joe Pyfer is one of the more exciting UFC prospects currently. However, a long-lasting fight is not a part of his vocabulary. Additionally, he is on a five-match winning streak. Also, four of the last five wins were under two full rounds, ending either by KO or TKO. Additionally, his most recent win was via submission in the second round at the 2:05 mark. Regardless of how things unfold against Jack Hermansson, fans can expect an entertaining evening from these two.
Fight Prediction
A lot of people are favoring an early knockout from Joe Pyfer and this concerns me. Although he is more than capable of pulling that off, there are some concerns. Also, Jack Hermansson is larger and will be able to use his greater amount of octagon time to show the up-and-coming martial artist some tricks that he hasn’t been able to see yet. Realistically, I see this fight ending in a knockout, but both fighters will get their chance to earn the victory. However, in a surprise upset, I have the underdog winning outright.
