Filip Forsberg is coming off his undoubtedly best season in the NHL, with 48 goals, and 46 assists for 94 points in 82 games in the Regular Season with the Nashville Predators.
Forsberg had an excellent postseason too, they lost in 6 games to the Vancouver Canucks in the 1st round but Forsberg played great with 2 goals and 6 points for a point per game.

Filip Forsberg was selected by the Washington Capitals in the 1st round, 11th overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
In 2013, Forsberg was traded to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Martin Erat and Michael Latta, an infamous trade that has worked out perfectly for the Nashville Predators.
Forsberg made his NHL Debut in the 2012-13 season with the Predators playing 5 games and recording 1 assist at only 18 years old, the next season at age 19 he played 13 games and had his 1st career NHL goal and 5 points overall.
In 2015 Filip Forsberg made his 1st career all-star game in the NHL when Evgeni Malkin pulled out due to injury, the same season Forsberg became the youngest Nashville Predator to score a goal in the playoffs and had their first-ever playoff hat-trick vs the Chicago Blackhawks.
Forsberg tied a Nashville Predators record for 33 goals in a season, his strong play earned him a spot in Sweden’s World Cup of Hockey roster.
In 2016, Filip Forsberg agreed to a 6-year, $36 million contract to keep him in Nashville through the 2021–22 season.
The Nashville Predators made the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals, losing to the Back to Back Champion Pittsburgh Penguins in 6 games, the only time so far ever the Predators have made the Stanley Cup.
In the 2021-22 season, Filip Forsberg saw a huge spike in goals, he surpassed David Legwand as the leading goal scorer in Predators history with 211 goals. That season, Forsberg finished with 42 goals and 84 points in 69 games, a career-high in goals, assists, and points.
Filip Forsberg signed back with the Predators after signing an 8-year, $68 million contract extension to stay until the 2029–30 season.
He played only 50 games in the 2022-23 season and put up 19 goals and 42 points in those 50 regular season games.
