Another mid-week of August is here and so is the hot MLB DFS action, for today. This Wednesday’s 16-game slate should keep this hot week going. Wednesday’s MLB action is going to help fantasy players win cash for tonight’s games.
One of Wednesday’s feature games for today’s MLB DFS pools will be the New York Mets and Arizona Diamondbacks. Another game for fantasy players is the Texas Rangers hosting the Chicago White Sox.
The summer is ending soon, but fantasy players could end the month with a bang with fantasy cash prizes.
August 28th MLB DFS Best Starts
3B Josh Jung, Texas Rangers at. Chicago White Sox ($3,600 – DraftKings/2,300-Fanduel)
Josh Jung should start as a fantasy player in Wednesday night’s MLB DFS fantasy pools. During the loss against the Guardians on Sunday, Jung went 1-4 at Cleveland.
Jung has been inconsistent and hurt this season but could do well against a historically bad White Sox team. Fantasy players should get the Rangers’ young infielder who could have a multi-home run game tonight.
1B/OF J.D. Martinez, New York Mets at. Arizona Diamondbacks ($4,400 – DraftKings/3,200-Fanduel)
J.D. Martinez of the New York Mets is the next player to have tonight for fantasy baseball. During the win against the Diamondbacks, Martinez went 2-4 with two runs, a walk, and a strikeout.
Martinez has been great for the Mets this season and could have a home run tonight. Arizona has lost three of five against the Mets this season. Fantasy players should go with the hot hand with the Mets DH tonight.
SS Miguel Rojas, Baltimore Orioles at. Los Angeles Dodgers ($3,400 – DraftKings/2,500-Fanduel)
The last player to have for your fantasy lineups is Miguel Rojas of the Los Angeles Dodgers. During the close loss against the Orioles, Rojas went 1-3 with an RBI last night.
Rojas has been a spark plug for the Dodgers this season and could have a multi-hit game. Baltimore’s pitching has been inconsistent and fantasy players should have Rojas tonight for a fantasy pool win.
August 28th MLB DFS Sits
1B/2B Spencer Horwitz, Toronto Blue Jays at. Boston Red Sox ($4,200 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)
Spencer Horwitz should be the first player on your MLB DFS fantasy benches this Tuesday night. In a loss against the Red Sox, Horwitz went 1-2 with two walks at Fenway.
Toronto has been a disappointment even with the emergence of Horwitz. Fantasy players could see a hitless night for the Blue Jays young star.
OF Charlie Blackmon, Miami Marlins at. Colorado Rockies ($4,900 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)
Charlie Blackmon of the Colorado Rockies is another player to put on tonight’s MLB DFS fantasy benches. In an embarrassing loss against the Marlins, Blackmon went 2-4, including a home run and two runs.
Colorado has been in a nightmare season, and so is Blackmon in the twilight of his career. Fantasy players should avoid the Rockies veteran, due to his weak hitting this season.
OF Anthony Santander, Baltimore Orioles at. Los Angeles Dodgers ($5,300 – DraftKings/3,600-Fanduel)
Anthony Santander of the Baltimore Orioles is the last player to sit for tonight’s MLB DFS fantasy pools. In last night’s win against the Dodgers, Santander went 0-3 with a strikeout. While they had won last night, the Orioles have been streaking and could struggle tonight.
Fantasy players should be worried about Santander’s recent struggles being 2-17 in his last five games. Santander should be avoided for tonight’s MLB DFS fantasy pools.
August 28th MLB DFS Best Stack
For fantasy players tonight, Wednesday’s MLB DFS stack of the night should be Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, and Adolis García. Texas is facing a disastrous White Sox team and could do well tonight.
Seager has been doing well with the Rangers in this disappointing season. Seager could have a home run for the Rangers and fantasy players for tonight. Along with Seager is Semien and his strong hitting is strong.
While Semien has a weak batting average this season, he could have a multi-hit game for the Rangers and fantasy lineups. Even with a weak season, Semien could do well against the White Sox.
There is also Adolis Garcia and his power against the White Sox. With the game being a double-header, Garcia could have a multi-home run game against the White Sox. This Texas Rangers’ hitting staff could help fantasy players win cash prizes tonight.
