The contest between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills should be a great one for fantasy. Both teams have high-powered offenses that like to run up the scoreboard. Both teams are also suffering from injuries to players like Dalton Kincaid, Bucky Irving, and Chris Godwin. That gives a huge opportunity for other pass catchers to have big games since they’ll all have elite quarterbacks throwing them the football.
Lock of the Game
Josh Allen
Buffalo Bills
VS.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
(6-3)
Plenty of NFL fans will be bearish on Josh Allen after the performance he had against Miami last week. That would be a mistake, though, since Allen could easily go for 300 yards or more in this game. Tampa will put points on the board early, forcing Allen to throw the ball to keep up. This has the makings of a shootout, so starting Allen at $7K (DK) and $9K (FD) would be a great way to capitalize on the huge amount of offense this game is gonna have.
Start ‘Em

Emeka Egbuka
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
AT
Buffalo Bills
(6-3)
Statistically, Egbuka is doing about as well as any other wide receiver in the NFL. He often gets 100 yards or at least close, but more importantly, he’s scored a touchdown in five of the nine games he has played this season. He will be Baker Mayfield’s primary target for those long passing plays, and Chris Godwin staying on the sidelines only means more touches for Egbuka ($7.9K FD and $7.2K DK).
Dawson Knox
Buffalo Bills
VS.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
(6-3)
The injury to Dalton Kincaid results in a unique opportunity for Dawson Knox. Kincaid has four touchdowns in eight games this season. That does indicate that Allen likes to target the tight end in the end zone if he isn’t running it in himself or handing off to James Cook. Knox is a perfectly decent pass catcher at $3.3K (DK) and $4.7K (FD), despite not having the numbers Kincaid has, so the chances of him scoring a touchdown in this game are fairly high.
Sit ‘Em
James Cook
Buffalo Bills
VS.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
(6-3)
There is no doubt that Cook is having a phenomenal year. Cook’s performance when the Bills are up big is much different than when the Bills are down in score, though. For instance, when the Bills virtually destroyed the Panthers, Cooks had 216 yards and two touchdowns. In the loss to Miami, though, Cook only had 53 yards and was kept out of the endzone. That doesn’t make Cook a good play for this game at $8.9K on FD and $7.3K on DK, where the Buccaneers are going to put up points early and the Bills will have to throw to win the game.
Khalil Shakir
Buffalo Bills
VS.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
(6-3)
The Bills have a very odd passing situation where their quarterback is clearly a top-five player, but he doesn’t have any receivers within the top 25. Khalil Shakir can be a decent long-ball threat on occasion. It’s very hard to throw the long ball on Tampa Bay, though, which has a strong pass rush and defensive backs like Antoine Winfield surveying the field. Given the fact that Shakir doesn’t usually have 90-yard games or anything like that, he’s become a very touchdown-dependent player. Shakir has only had three touchdowns on the season, so it’s more likely that he will have a decent game, but nothing fantasy-relevant at his price ($5.3K on FD, $6.1K on DK).
Fade of the Game
Elijah Moore
Buffalo Bills
VS
Tampa Bay Buccanners
(6-3)
Despite being a former impressive pass catcher, Elijah Moore is simply not being used in this offense, at least in comparison to how he was used in Cleveland. He only gets a couple of targets a game, none of which are in the endzone. He will come on the field to help move the chains occasionally, but that’s about it. Allen will be spreading the ball out to his other weapons quite frequently in this game, so Moore won’t see the ball enough to have an impact at $4.7K FD and $3K DK.
