Tonight, we have a potential NBA Finals preview. The best team in the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder, is in Boston for a matchup against the reigning NBA champions, the Celtics. The DFS lineup possibilities from this game are numerous, especially when you have superstars like SGA and Jayson Tatum. Here are my three DFS picks from this highly anticipated game on the NBA docket this evening.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($11,400 Draft Kings)
SGA is looking to have a strong impactful game once again as he continues his MVP candidacy, especially down the stretch of the regular season. Alexander is coming off a lackluster night for his standards against the Nuggets on Monday, only having 45.25 fantasy points in that contest. This game this evening against the defending champion Celtics should be a huge bounce-back game even though this is a tough matchup because of the defense of the Celtics’ guards, especially from Derrick White and Jrue Holiday. Look for SGA to continue his MVP campaign with a statement game on the road at TD Garden.
Jayson Tatum ($10,700 Draft Kings)
Tatum has a questionable tag on him tonight with a knee, but if he plays, he presents many problems for one of the league’s best defenses in the Thunder with Jaylen Williams out with a hip injury. Jaylen Brown is the substitute play for Tatum as a stud for the Celtics if he can’t go. But if Tatum is in the lineup for the Celtics tonight I would play him in DFS.
Derrick White ($7,100 Draft Kings)
White is the budget player from me in the game as he is averaging 33.5 FPPG on the Draft Kings platform and he is a guy who fills up the stat sheet on a nightly basis for the defending champions. I love his game as a player and I think if the Celtics win this showdown between the two favorites to be in the Finals, it will be on the shoulders of White. He’ll pitch in a lot of threes in this game and will have a good game defensively. So look at White to be the role player for both of these teams to make the most money for people in DFS this evening.

I think the Celtics home-court advantage will prove to be a huge momentum swinger for this game on ESPN Airways tonight. I love the picks I have in this game for DFS standards, I also want to shout out Chet Holmgren as well as I think he’ll also bounce back in this game from a putrid night on Monday, as Hartenstein had a better night than he did.
