Julian Lewis ranks as the number seven quarterback on 247 sports and number 46 overall. He has performed well enough and caught the eye of a top football school in the USC Trojans. Julian Lewis’s tape measurements stand as follows; 6ft 1 in and 185lbs. Undoubtedly, the Trojans will improve upon this young man as he grows and develops under their leadership and development.
Julian Lewis has an uncanny ability to find and make plays. He has a top-notch ability to see plays develop and hit his mark on open players. A fault that can be seen is he takes a bit too much of a risk and has thrown more interceptions than we would like to see. This is the main reason for his drop in value compared to other top quarterbacks the likes of Bryce Underwood, Tavien St. Clair, and Keelon Russell. But with the developmental skills of USC, there is no doubt that this lack of skill will improve greatly over his time as a Trojan and make the jump to the NFL as a top-rated Quarterback.
Julian Lewis Devy Outlook
As a high school player, Julian Lewis is nearly untouchable, but that will not be the case when he is facing the defenses of the collegiate level. There is raw talent in this young man as his arm strength is a major plus, and will continue to grow in strength throughout his college career. The playmaking ability is impressive and will grow with time.
I hesitate to put him as high as Bryce Underwood until Julian can learn to take care of the ball better. This talented young man will be a great help to a future team as he grows and matures in the football world. There is a lot of talent that reminds me of a current young quarterback. I would put Julian Lewis as a taller Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals. Similar ball control issues, but again there is an extreme amount of talent to be had. As far as draft projections, I would dare to put Julian Lewis ceiling at QB-5 with great mentorship at USC but floor as far as QB-25.
