They also have a slight minutes reduction for Maxey in their projections for him, going from 37.5 minutes in 2023-24 to 36.6 minutes in the projections. I think that is plausible with the addition of Paul George, but I feel that Maxey will still play a lot of minutes in 2024-25.
Maxey is going to grow even more as a player this season because of George, who will have another person to help him and Embiid in the clutch moments on the offensive end of the floor. The details of who will be above who on the totem pole between Maxey and George is the key question for fantasy owners, but it’ll be Maxey and then George after Embiid.
