Sebastian Aho is coming off another very successful season for the Carolina Hurricanes, with 36 goals and 89 points for the Finnish Forward in 78 games.
Sebastian Aho also put up 11 points in 12 playoff games, when the Carolina Hurricanes were defeated by the New York Rangers in the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
In the 2023-24 season, Aho passed his head coach Rod Brind’Amour (299) for the third most assists in franchise history and Aho passed Kevin Dineen (250) for the third most goals in franchise history.
Sebastian Aho trails only Eric Staal (322 goals, 453 assists) and Ron Francis (382 goals, 793 assists), if he passes both he will be the all-time leader in goals and points for the Carolina Hurricanes.
Those aren’t the only franchise milestones Aho’s reached this season either as he also became the all-time leader in shorthanded goals (17) earlier in the 23-24 season, third in franchise hat tricks (8), and second in game-winning goals (54).

Final Thoughts
Sebastian Aho is a great asset for any fantasy hockey team, he led his team in Goals, Points, Plus/Minus, Powerplay Assists, and Powerplay Points.
Aho is great value at where he’s going to be picked, if he’s selected around the late 3rd/4th round for a guy who is top in many stats for the Hurricanes every year and plays in every capacity for his team has massive value for Fantasy, with Blocked Shots, Assists and others he will get.
Aho had ten game-winning goals, the most on his team, just one above Seth Jarvis, he also has the highest ice time for a forward on the Carolina Hurricanes at 19:38, he has Powerplay, 5v5, and Penalty Kill responsibilities.
Sebastian Aho is ranked 43rd by ESPN in their “way too early” fantasy rankings for 2024-2025, these were made before Free Agency started.
