Week 6 of the NFL has now come to an end and heading into Week 7. This week in the NFL was nothing short of exciting. Green Bay’s wide receiver Romeo Doubs came back from a two-game suspension and JuJu Smith-Schuster is making an impact in Kansas City. Will Lockett be the number-one receiver?

This week’s waiver wire will help answer any doubts or questions that fantasy owners will have this week ahead of the NFL Week 7. Here is a list of the top or best option wide receivers on the waiver wire.

Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Week 7

Tyler Lockett, WR, (SEA), Locket was quiet at the beginning of the season for the Seahawks but now has come alive in recent weeks. He averages 6.7 targets per game. Lockett so far this season has 42.7% of targets through six games. Tyler Lockett is 30% rostered in 12+ all fantasy leagues. Lockett has 26 receptions, 339 yards, and a touchdown on the season. The Seattle Seahawks will play the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7.

Romeo Doubs, WR, (GB), Romeo Doubs was suspended by the Green Bay Packers for two games because of conduct detrimental to the team. He came back and played in Week 6 and caught 2 touchdowns. Through 5 games, Doubs has 15 receptions, 218 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Doubs is targeted 51.9% of the time and averaging 4.8 targets per game. Doubs is 35% rostered in 12+ team PPR fantasy leagues.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, (KC), The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the many teams in the NFL battling with injuries to star players. Wide receiver Rashee Rice is out for the year due to a knee injury and running back Isiah Pacheco is out for the season with a fibula injury.

Now, the Chiefs are looking for other players to fill in the gaps and step up. Smith-Schuster, caught 7 targets and 130 yards last week against the New Orleans Saints. He has 9 receptions, 147 yards, and a touchdown through five games this season. Smith-Schuster is 24% targeted and averaging 2.4 targets a game. He is 32% rostered in all fantasy leagues.

Final Thoughts

As the NFL approaches week seven of the season, these top wide receivers will help boost a fantasy team. The only two teams on a bye week this week are the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. These wide receivers can also help fantasy owners who have players on both of these teams.  The Green Bay Packers will take on the Houston Texans at Lambeau Field.

Expect Doubs to have a big game now that Jordan Love and the young wide receiver are back in the lineup. JuJu Smith-Schuster will still try to trend in the right direction for the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend against the 49ers who have given up points on defense turning games into high-scoring. As for Lockett, he is still in the mix for the Seahawks offense. Expect Lockett to get all his averaging targets against the Falcons.
