Week 10 NFL Quarterback DFS Start’em/Sit’em

week 10

We have officially arrived at Week 10 of the NFL season and have fun matchups throughout the league, including the first Eagles vs. Cowboys meeting in Dallas. There is also the Ravens and Bengals sequel after both quarterbacks battled in Cincinnati with an electric overtime shootout. The quarterback landscape for the position this week has been impacted by the injury bug, so here are the picks of the week at the position with those injuries in mind.

Quarterback Must Starts for Week 10

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard (94) pushes Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) out of bounds during the 4th quarter Sunday October 6, 2024 at Payor Stadium.

Here are a few of the players we are heavily leaning on in this game. These players are in a good spot to put together a solid performance and have a favorable matchup.

Joe Burrow ($7,000 Draft Kings, $7,900 FanDuel)

Joe Burrow threw for 5 touchdown passes last week against the Raiders and had success against the Ravens the last time these two teams met a few weeks ago in Cincy. This game in Baltimore might be another 3 touchdown performance for the former LSU Tiger, especially with the inconsistent performance of the passing defense of the Ravens.

Lamar Jackson ($8,000 Draft Kings, $9,000 FanDuel)

Jackson is a start for me this week because the Bengals’ defense is not good at all. Jackson just had an MVP day against a Denver Broncos defense that was halting fantasy quarterback production left and right. The Ravens quarterback is guaranteed to have another successful day against this Bengals defense once again.

Josh Allen ($7,700 Draft Kings, $9,200 FanDuel)

Josh Allen continues to be a consistent option in fantasy in 2024, as he heads to Indianapolis this weekend to play the Colts in Week 10. Josh Allen has averaged over 20 fantasy points this season on both FanDuel and Draft Kings through Week 9. Allen will be able to find success against the Colts pass defense this week.

Quarterback Must Sits for Week 10

On the flip side of things, here are a few of the players we are sitting in Week 10.

Jayden Daniels ($7,500 Draft Kings, $8,400 FanDuel)

Daniels had a strong performance against the Giants last week, throwing for 2 touchdowns to Terry McLaurin. However this week, he’s facing his toughest challenge thus far in his NFL career when the Pittsburgh Steelers come to Landover this weekend. Expect a slight dip in production enough for Daniels to be in the sitting category for this weekend.

Drake Maye ($5,800 Draft Kings, $6,800 FanDuel)

Drake Maye showed last week that he could play against tough defenses, but the Bears’ pass defense has presented a lot of problems for quarterbacks this season. The Bears are still the best pass defense against quarterbacks this season. Look for Rhamondre Stevenson to have a strong day, especially if the Bears take away the passing game of the Patriots.

Lock of Week 10

Jalen Hurts ($7,800 Draft Kings, $9,400 FanDuel)

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles travel to Dallas after escaping a scrappy Jacksonville team even though the offense was flowing. This week, Hurts has another favorable matchup against the division rival Dallas Cowboys this weekend. The Eagles look to keep up with the Commanders before the Week 11 tilt on Thursday night football next week.

Jalen Hurts has gotten back-to-back high-scoring efforts at over 35 fantasy points against the Bengals and 29.9 fantasy points last week. Hurts since the bye has had 12 total touchdowns and ZERO turnovers in that span, so expect that to continue against the Cowboys this week.

Fade of Week 10

Cooper Rush ($5,100 Draft Kings, $6,500 FanDuel)

The Eagles’ defense is now in the top ten in total defense, especially after the performances these last few weeks. Ceedee Lamb has a sore AC joint and probably will play with said AC joint issue. Plus the Cowboys don’t have a run game to speak of. Yeah, those factors alone will make Cooper Rush the Fade of Week 10.

Sleeper of Week 10

Brock Purdy ($6,500 Draft Kings, $8,100 FanDuel)

Brock Purdy could finally have CMC back into this 49ers offense, and the Tampa Bay defense has been woeful against the pass this season. This should be one of the easiest days for Purdy this season throwing the football because the full gameplan will be back operational most likely and Purdy has been a productive 19 fantasy per game scorer this season on FanDuel.

Conclusion

This week’s picks can make serious money if played right in DFS lineups this week for Week 10. Jalen Hurts is the most likely pick to keep on going off in fantasy this week with the easy matchup. I think the Baltimore and Cincinnati game will be one of the best Thursday Night Football games we have had all year up to this point. Brock Purdy and Josh Allen will also have some success for you this week as well. For more positional DFS information on the other positions, follow along the rest of the week at Total Apex Fantasy.
