“It’s an unbelievable feeling to be here with my family and friends, and get to hear my name be called and experience that, especially with such a storied organization,” Bedard said. “Very thankful (the Blackhawks) put their faith in me.”
The Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson who selected Connor Bedard said “he wants to be great” immediately after making the selection.

Final Thoughts
If Tyler Bertuzzi indeed starts the season on a line with Superstar Connor Bedard, it will provide a massive boost to Bertuzzi’s productivity, he should easily pass the 43 points he had with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season.
His other Projected winger, Philip Kurashev, saw a massive boost to his production getting to play with Bedard; Kurashev put up 54 points and 18 goals in 75 games, which is his career high, only racking up 25 points in the 22-23 season, and less than 25 his previous two seasons.
Tyler Bertuzzi provides a perfect match for the Blackhawks and Bedard, his experience and physical play will be key for the Blackhawks next season.
