Wednesday’s slate of games will have a lot of action, and players should start with the New York Yankees facing the Detroit Tigers. Another game that could have fantasy players win their DFS lineups is the Arizona Diamondbacks hosting the Baltimore Orioles.

The second week of the baseball season is getting hot, and today’s top MLB DFS lineups could help players win big today.

April 9th Top MLB DFS Lineup Starters

1B Michael Busch, Texas Rangers at Chicago Cubs ($4,300 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

To start Wednesday’s top MLB DFS lineups, Michael Busch of the Chicago Cubs should be on the lineups. In the win against the Rangers, Busch only had one plate appearance with no hits.

Busch has been solid during the start of the season for the Cubs and could help fantasy players win big today. Fantasy players could see a multi-hit game from the Cubs’ first baseman and potentially a home run.

3B Matt Chapman, Cincinnati Reds at San Francisco Giants ($4,600 – DraftKings/3,600-Fanduel)

Matt Chapman of the San Francisco Giants should also be in their lineups for today’s top MLB DFS lineups. During the loss against the Reds last night, Chapman went 0-4, being hitless for fantasy players.

Chapman could have a bounce-back game against the Reds’ pitching during the day game for fantasy players. Fantasy players could see a multi-hit game from the Giants star and potentially drive in runs.

OF Teoscar Hernandez, Los Angeles Dodgers at Washington Nationals ($4,700 – DraftKings/3,800-Fanduel)

The last player to have for your fantasy lineups is Teoscar Hernandez of the Los Angeles Dodgers for today. During a crushing loss against the Nationals, Hernandez went 1-3 in the loss.

Hernandez has been decent for the Dodgers to start the season but could have a breakout game today. Fantasy players could see a multi-hit game with a home run against the Nationals today.

C Austin Wells, New York Yankees at Detroit Tigers (4,300 – DraftKings/2,800-Fanduel)

Austin Wells is the first player who should be on your top MLB DFS fantasy benches on Wednesday afternoon. In the shutout loss against the Tigers, Wells went 0-4 with two strikeouts at Detroit.

Wells has been struggling for the Yankees and could have a hitless game against the Tigers. Fantasy players should also expect another multi-strikeout game from the Yankees catcher.

SS Xavier Edwards, Miami Marlins at New York Mets ($4,200 – DraftKings/3,200-Fanduel)

Xavier Edwards of the Miami Marlins is another player to put on Wednesday afternoon’s top MLB DFS benches. During the loss at Queens, Edwards went 1-4 with two strikeouts in the cold loss against the Mets.

Fantasy players should worry about Edwards’s inconsistent play for the Marlins to start the young season. Edwards could have a hitless game against the Mets’ solid pitching, and fantasy players should stay away.

2B Marcus Semien, Texas Rangers at Chicago Cubs ($4,400-DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

The last player to bench for today’s top MLB DFS lineups is the Texas Rangers’ Marcus Semien. During the loss against the Cubs, Semien went 0-5 with an RBI during the crushing loss at Chicago.

Semien has been struggling in 2025 and could have another bad game for fantasy players. Fantasy players should avoid the Rangers’ star until he gets consistent in his hitting again.

Total Apex Media’s Stack Of The Day

There is also the hot Nimmo for the Mets that could have a solid game against the Marlins’ pitching. Nimmo had a strong game yesterday with a double and a couple of RBIs for the win. Fantasy players could win a lot of money with these starters in their DFS lineups and today’s fantasy stack.
