Top 5 Best NFL Rookies for Redraft Fantasy in 2025

rookie fantasy

This upcoming 2025 rookie class is fast approaching and is one of the most interesting and weird ever, as you can find redraft rookies that become playmakers down the line from the first round to day three of the draft, depending on their landing spots.

With tons of unique playmakers and tons of high-potential players, there are going to be a lot of players very interesting to draft, so here they are! Hope you enjoy and it helps you out for fantasy football!

The Unknown and Underrated Bhayshul Tuten

I mentioned him in my last article, but he still deserves to be talked about here, especially in a fantasy context. The VT halfback was a 2nd team All-ACC twice in his college career. Most notably, Tuten turned heads when he ran a 4.32 40. With that blazing speed and mid-round projection, coaches will look to turn him into an all-around playmaker. This makes him a perfect bench FLEX player and sleeper for 2025 NFL fantasy football in redraft.

Our next rookie is, of course, Ashton Jeanty

The Boise State running back almost won the Heisman last year and looks to carry that form to the NFL. The 5-foot-8/211-pound running back led all of college football in yards after contact and missed tackles last season. And looks to do big things off the bat in the NFL.

Tight End from Penn State, Tyler Warren

When you’re compared to Brock Bowers, you should be on everyone’s radar. While most people are looking at running backs and wide receivers, Warren has more potential to be an immediate impact player. He’ll probably get great playing time and put up good stats on a team with a good QB and should be a starting-level TE his rookie year.

Omarion Hampton from North Carolina

We have the two-time 2nd All-ACC back; it’s only fitting we have the two-time 1st team All-ACC back, Omarion Hampton. He dominated the ACC on his way to being a Doak Walker finalist. With 1600+ yards and 15 rushing TDs in his rookie year, plus good catching stats. He’s going in the 1st round and most likely will be drafted as a starter in his first season, and I have no doubts he’ll do a solid job.

Receiver Tetairoa McMillan from Arizona

While there are lots of receivers to consider this upcoming 2025 season, McMillan should be among the names to consider next season, that’s for sure. At 6 feet 4 inches and 219 pounds, he has the potential, but he didn’t win Polynesian College Football Player of the Year for potential alone. His 1,319 receiving yards and 8 TDs helped him to the most career receiving yards in Wildcat history. Considering that and his stature, he could have a more immediate impact than most rookie receivers in his class.

Honorable mention goes to Travis Hunter, who would’ve been here if I knew which position Hunter would play—cornerback, receiver, or both—but since I don’t, I didn’t feel confident putting him here. Thanks a bunch for reading!
