Stephen Curry 2024-25 Fantasy Outlook

Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry has been with the Golden State Warriors since the start of his career in 2009. The Davidson sensation has been electrifying the league for over 16 years and has been a fantasy darling for the last decade-plus since he proved he could stay healthy after having multiple ankle injuries early in his career. The 2024-25 season could be a decline, but if you watched the Olympics in Paris, Stephen Curry is still Chef Curry. Here’s a look at his 2023-24 production plus Olympic production.

Stephen Curry averaged 26.4 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, and 5.1 assists per game in the 2023-24 season. Curry still had a 61.6 true shooting percentage in 2023-24, which means he’s still can be efficient even when he’s past his prime like he is currently entering as we speak. Then we had the Paris Olympics where he went off for the USA, especially in the semis and the Gold Medal game.

Stephen Curry averaged 14.8 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, and 2.5 assists per game in Paris this past summer, but the magical performances against Serbia in the semis, and France in the Gold Medal game are having people cheesing about Curry’s potential fantasy value in 2024-25.

In the Serbia game, Steph had 38 points and every point was needed for them to win, and the France game it was a 22 point-performance to help the USA grab the gold medal. Here are the projections for Stephen Curry.

Stephen Curry 2024/25 Fantasy Projection

ESPN Fantasy is projecting Stephen Curry to be the 35th-ranked player overall with a stat line of 26.2 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and 5.3 assists per game. That stat line projection is on par with what he did last season in the league.

If you can get Curry at the right price his ceiling is a little bit higher than that in 2024-25 because he’ll probably be the only main option in Golden State with the departure of Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins being inconsistent.

Final Thoughts

Stephen Curry is going to be a solid top 25 play in Fantasy Basketball this season because he’s no doubt the best option on Golden State in 2024-25. Is Golden State going to be a great team to watch this season, no, but Curry is going to be the player to watch every night to see if he can make you money in DFS plays or if he can help win your redraft leagues over the year.

Curry is going to continue to shoot lights out from three-point range and from the charity stripe like he has all of his career. Curry will average about 35-40 fantasy points on most nights in a rotisserie scoring system because of the three-ball and the sheer volume he’ll have on offense in 2024-25.
