Philadelphia 76ers PG Kyle Lowry ($6,000 on DraftKings)
With all of the 76ers injuries heading into tonight’s game, Lowry should benefit the most from a DFS perspective. Lowry will start at point guard tonight and be heavily relied on for tons of minutes. Lowry isn’t just valuable on the offensive end but on the defensive side of the ball as well. Lowry gets steals and even blocks in the majority of his games. That value is rare now in the league especially at his size. With the increased workload for tonight, expect Lowry to have a major contribution and with this low $6,000 evaluation, this is the easiest start in this matchup.
Los Angeles Lakers SG Austin Reaves ($7,800 on DraftKings)
This Lakers guard continues to get no national notice on how valuable he continues to be for the Lakers. Reaves can obviously score the basketball but he also is one of the teams best passers and defenders. Reaves is averaging 17.5 points per game as well as nearly five rebounds and five assists. Outside of the legendary LeBron James, Reaves might be the other most complete player on the roster. Reaves also averages nearly two steals a game and the 76ers are dead last in the league in turnovers. Based on the 76ers struggles on defending the three and turnovers, this is a dream matchup for the Lakers guard.

Philadelphia 76ers C Andre Drummond ($8,200 on DraftKings)
Every person rightfully believed that due to Embiid being out, that would have led to some big games for Drummond. But that certainly hasn’t come close to happening this season. Drmmond’s highest scoring output this season has been 11 and he has only had two games this year with double digit points. The Philadelphia 76ers have struggled getting production from the center position and with the likely return of Anthony Davis tonight, this could be a long night for the 76ers night. But more importantly, this is just way too high of a DFS value. Being over $8,000 is just way too high and it rightfully should scare off players.
Los Angeles Lakers PG D’Angelo Russell ($7,200 on DraftKings)
The Lakers point guard just hasn’t had that big moment so far in 2024. Not just has he not had a 20 point scoring output so far this year but head coach J.J. Redick will not play him as much when things aren’t going well. The confidence just isn’t there at the moment for the former Ohio State player. Russell played a season low 21 minutes in the Lakers loss in Memphis on Wednesday night. Things don’t seem to be turning around anytime soon and this is just too high of a value by DraftKings to hope he can finally produce.
