Week 2 of the NFL Season has almost concluded, and it was a chaotic time. Especially for Survivor Pool players, as a few games made teams sweat. Well, it has concluded, and it is now time to recap the recommendations I gave on the Top 5 options to pick for Week 2.
1. Baltimore Ravens (vs. Cleveland Browns)
Is … Is anyone really surprised in this matchup? Gonna be brief here because this game was a mismatch as the Ravens won 41-17. Maybe Shedeur Sanders should not have refused to go to Baltimore in the draft. This was a stress-free pick.
2. Arizona Cardinals (vs. Carolina Panthers)
The Cardinals may have won this game, but man, did they prove what a mediocre football team they were in the 4th quarter. Did you know Arizona had a 27-3 lead in this game? They almost choked that lead against Bryce Young, who looked awful in the first half. Arizona better wake up, but this team still screams mediocre. Well, if you used them this week or last week, then you made a great choice, as Arizona has little future in survivor.
3. Los Angeles Rams (AT Tennessee Titans)
This game was surprising, as while the Rams did win the game, the Titans showed some potential. Especially Cam Ward, as he looked decent in this game, throwing for 175 passing yards and a passing touchdown. It just sucks that he has no offensive line and that Brian Callahan is still there as the coach. The Rams were just the better team overall, winning 33-19. Those back issues are clearly not an issue, as Stafford looked fine this week.
4. Dallas Cowboys (vs. New York Giants)
This game had everyone in Survivor sweating, as according to Survivor Grid, 16.3% of players used Dallas in Survivor for this week. Including myself, as this was the team I chose and recommended that everyone take. It was risky as a divisional game, but man, the New York Giants came to play today. Especially Russell Wilson, who played like he was still a Seahawk, throwing for 450 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception. He was looking good all game, until he made that horrendous interception in overtime, which killed the Giants just like James Hudson did with his NFL job today.
Dallas should count themselves lucky that they have the best kicker in the NFL in Brandon Aubrey, who made a 64-yard field goal. Dallas got the win, though, and if you used them, remember that all that matters is if you survive and advance.
5. San Francisco 49ers (AT New Orleans Saints)

Said it before and will say it again: the New Orleans Saints suck. The 49ers didn’t have Brock Purdy at QB and had to start Mac Jones in this game. Jones looked like he did during his Alabama days as he threw 3 touchdowns in this game. Embrace the Tank Saints, you’re going to need it with the amount of issues all over the team. As for the 49ers, they just need to get healthy both on offense and defense. They should be fine.
Final Thoughts: Another 5-0 Record In Recommendations
Another 5-0 record in survivor recommendations. That is a really great start, being 10-0 in recommendations, and hopefully I can keep this up. Remember that all that matters in these leagues is that you survive and advance.
