IT’S FINALLY HERE! The much-anticipated Super Bowl Rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs is officially here as the marquee matchup of Week 2 in the NFL. As a huge Eagles fan, this is going to be a highly anticipated matchup for me as Philadelphia gets to see Mahomes once again in Arrowhead.
The last time Philadelphia was in Arrowhead, they came away with the win, but the fantasy numbers were kind of on the minimum end of the spectrum for that game for both sides. So the DFS should be interesting to see who plays well and who doesn’t this weekend. My picks last week did have a bit of a shaky start, but I did get Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley correct. So here are my picks for this week.
Lock of the Game
AJ Brown
Philadelphia Eagles
AT
Kansas City Chiefs
(0-1)
($6,600 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel)
AJ Brown had a disappointing effort for fantasy owners in the Eagles’ Week 1 victory against the Cowboys as he had one reception for eight yards on ONE TARGET. Several key factors led to that disappointing effort, but you have to think he’s not going to have back-to-back bad weeks like that, especially with Dallas Goedert out for this game. So hammer AJ Brown in DFS lineups this week. Also consider Devonta Smith ($5,600 DraftKings, $6,400 FanDuel) as a strong play as well in DFS for the Philadelphia receivers.
Start ‘Em
Hollywood Brown
Kansas City Chiefs
VS
Philadelphia Eagles
(1-0)
($5,200 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel)
Hollywood Brown will get the targets on Sunday because of Xavier Worthy’s doubtful status for Kansas City, and he did have a good week 1 performance in Brazil. Also, if he’s matched up against Adoree Jackson, it will be a feast for him in DFS, as Jackson struggled mightily in Week 1 against Dallas. So look for Hollywood Brown to have a strong follow-up performance in Week 2 for the 0-1 Chiefs.
Jalen Hurts
Philadelphia Eagles
AT
Kansas City Chiefs
(0-1)
($6,800 DraftKings, $8,300 FanDuel)
Hurts didn’t get anything going in the passing game, hardly, but better than some people, a certain somebody had as a lock on one of the guys that had fewer passing yards than Hurts in his Quarterback DFS piece last week, LOL. Hurts still had a strong 24-point fantasy performance thanks to his scrambling ability. The last time Hurts played Kansas City, it was another strong fantasy day, with a hint of a trophy at the end, I think you might know it as the LOMBARDI TROPHY. Jalen is going to have a strong day once again against a Kansas City defense that looks disorganized at times.
Sit ‘Em
Saquon Barkley
Philadelphia Eagles
AT
Kansas City Chiefs
(0-1)
($8,000 DraftKings, $9,100 FanDuel)
I’m sitting Saquon again this week because of the last time the Philadelphia played Kansas City in New Orleans in the Super Bowl; Steve Spagnuolo took away the run game of the Eagles effectively in that game. I think Barkley fares a little better, but not much better enough to be a worthy play in DFS with his budget on both platforms. So the budget doesn’t make sense a tad again, but don’t worry, Philadelphia fans, Saquon’s time is coming soon.
Isiah Pacheco
Kansas City Chiefs
VS
Philadelphia Eagles
(1-0)
($5,500 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel)
Kansas City’s run game has been one of those matchups that has been a mighty struggle as of late, since midway through last season, and in Week 1 was still a weak point. Pacheco hasn’t been the same since his injury, and I personally think he has lost a small step, a bit of his running ability that helped them win their Super Bowls before Super Bowl LIX. So, sit Kansas City’s running back this week
Fade of the Game

Travis Kelce
Kansas City Chiefs
VS
Philadelphia Eagles
(1-0)
($5,000 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel)
Kelce had a decent week at the Tight End position in fantasy as he did find the end zone in Brazil; however, Philadelphia only allowed Jake Ferguson to have 4.8 points on FanDuel and 7.3 points on DraftKings last week. The duo of Zack Baun and Jihaad Campbell is a great coverage duo at the linebacker position, so I expect Kelce not to have that much production against Philadelphia this week.
