Two first-rounders to go along with Mitchell is great value. Sad to see Sauce Gardner leave this defense.
This is a great move for the Jets: plain and simple. Adonai Mitchell has the talent and upside to develop into a solid No. 2 option alongside Garrett Wilson. The Jets needed to make a move like this to bolster their receiving corps, and Mitchell fits perfectly. He was underutilized in Indianapolis, often buried behind veteran targets, but he’s more athletic and younger than the other guys on the roster.
Fantasy Outlook
Mitchell offers 💪 potential. Expect the Jets to get Mitchell involved early and often. There’s no reason to trade for a young receiver with his skill set and then keep him on the sideline. With Garrett Wilson commanding top coverage, Mitchell should see plenty of favorable matchups. That’s a recipe for fantasy value: especially if Justin Fields continues to build confidence as a passer. Fields finally has a legitimate outside duo that can stretch the field and create space underneath.
