Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have been having an inconsistent season, with poor ownership at the helm for this disappointing season. Dallas has been having one of their best offensive season with Dak Prescott having another strong season, being in the top ten in passing.
Dallas and its offense have been excellent with Prescott leading the charge, but they also surprisingly have a strong running game with Javonte Williams playing well in the run game. While the offense has been great for the Cowboys, the defense has been playing poorly, with the team being ranked 30th and 32nd in passing yards. The loss to the Chargers shows that the defense has been an issue and could lead them to another brutal loss.
Washington Commanders
After going to the NFC Championship game earlier this year, the Washington Commanders are regressing to being another poor team. The Commanders’ offense has been playing poorly due to the offense regressing, along with injuries to Jayden Daniels that could harm his future. Marcus Mariota is also out, so Josh Johnson will take the start on Christmas Day.
Along with the offense regressing, the Commanders’ defense has been playing poorly due to their age and poor game-planning. Washington has been having a poor season, and losing to the Eagles solidifies the Commanders’ poor team construction. The only hope is the passing game with Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel.
Prediction
This game will not mean much to the NFL playoff picture due to both teams being eliminated, but for pride, both teams will be playing hard to outdo each other, and for bettors, it could win them cash. The Dallas Cowboys could easily win this game due to their offense overpowering the Commanders and their weak defense.
