Key Details

Chicago Bears
The Bears arrive in Baltimore with a quiet confidence brewing. Â That brand starts with a defense that has been surprisingly stout, ranking in the top half of the league in yards allowed per game. The real question, however, lies on the offensive side of the ball. Quarterback Caleb Williams, the highly-touted rookie, has shown flashes of brilliance, but also the expected growing pains. His connection with veteran receiver DJ Moore will be critical. If Williams can stay poised against a ferocious Ravens pass rush and find Moore for a few big plays, Chicago might just have a fighting chance.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens were a well-oiled machine the past several years, but injuries have plagued them. Lamar Jackson will miss his third consecutive game with an injury.Â
Defensively, linebacker Roquan Smith, a former Bear, anchors the defense that has been struggling so far. The Ravens’ defense is ranked 30th in the league with giving up an average of 380.8 yards per game. They have allowed 27 TDs, the most in the league.Â
Prediction
Raise your hand if you thought after NFL week two that the Bears would be 4-2 and the Ravens 1-5? If you raised your hand, please put it down. Please admit you were just kidding. No one, no one thought this would be true. Interestingly, Vegas seems not to be paying attention picking Baltimore at 1.5. To be fair, the line started at 6.5 before the Jackson injury news. With Jackson out, the Ravens do not have a chance.Â
