Both the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams were minutes away from being eliminated from playoff contention last week. They both were able to come back with a pair of last-minute drives from Matthew Stafford and Caleb Williams. That makes this game a great one to target for DFS players because both of these offenses are elite. It wouldn’t be surprising if this game were settled in the final minutes again, making this a ripe opportunity for receivers and quarterbacks to buff their stats.
Lock of the Game
Matthew Stafford
Los Angeles Rams
AT
Chicago Bears
(11-6)
There are two big reasons for players to start Matthew Stafford. The first is that he consistently gets over 250 yards in each game. He got picked off by the Panthers several times and still managed to earn 304 yards in the game. The second reason is that the Rams like to throw in the red zone. Stafford has thrown nine touchdowns over his last three games. Look for him to try to get the ball to Davante Adams or even Kyren Williams when the Rams get into scoring position.
Start ‘Em

Colston Loveland
Chicago Bears
VS
Los Angeles Rams
(12-5)
Loveland has been putting together a spicy run of games. In the last three games, Loveland earned 94 yards, 91 yards, and 134 yards, respectively. Since the Rams are guaranteed to put points up on the board, it’s almost guaranteed that the Bears will need to throw to keep up. It’s also becoming quite obvious that Caleb Williams likes to get the ball to Loveland in crunch time. Williams connected to Loveland five times in the final quarter against Green Bay, and one of those passes was an essential 2-point conversion after a touchdown.
Puka Nacua
Los Angeles Rams
AT
Chicago Bears
(11-6)
Saying that Nacua will have a good game at this point is as risky a statement as saying the sun might come out tomorrow. Nacua tends to grab some extra yards in close games, though. He had 111 yards in the thriller against Carolina as well as a whopping 225 yards in the overtime game against Seattle. Being the playoffs, Sean McVie almost certainly has a couple of crafty plays to get Nacua the ball down the field.
Sit ‘Em
Kyren Williams
Los Angeles Rams
AT
Chicago Bears
(11-6)
Williams has the capability to be as good as any running back in the league. He simply hasn’t been getting it done on the ground recently. He’s gotten below 70 yards in the wins against Arizona and Carolina. He also hasn’t rushed for a touchdown since December 14th. When the Rams feel pressured, they sometimes focus solely on throwing and abandon their run game. Given the fact that the Bears should put points on the board, the Rams might forget about their run game earlier than usual.
Rome Odunze
Chicago Bears
VS
Los Angeles Rams
(12-5)
Bears fans were delighted to see this receiver back on the field. Unfortunately, however, Odunze is still recovering from his foot injury. He was limited in practice on Thursday, which should give the Bears coaching staff pause before giving him a full snap count. Against Green Bay, Odunze was targeted six times, but he only caught the ball twice. It’s quite possible that his foot will keep him from catching most of his targets again.
Fade of the Game
Tutu Atwell
Los Angeles Rams
AT
Chicago Bears
(11-6)
Atwell has a pair of wheels and can seriously do some damage if he gets the ball in the open field. The issue with starting him is that it’s hard to tell whether or not he is getting the ball. He has caught 2 balls in the span of the last five games. In all likelihood, Stafford will feed the ball to Nacua and Adams without getting Attwell a good number of targets.
