The Eagles in Week 8 are going to be without AJ Brown in the rematch against the Giants from a couple of Weeks ago, as New York is also dealing with some injuries in the secondary as well in this game, so the passing game of the Eagles should be in a good spot still coming off Jalen Hurts’ best regular season game in a long time up in Minnesota. Here’s the DFS picks for this NFC East Rematch.
Lock of the Game
Devonta Smith
Philadelphia Eagles
VS
New York Giants
(2-5)
DraftKings ($5,900) FanDuel: ($6,700)
Smith is coming off a career day with nine receptions, 183 yards, and a touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings last week, and the news of AJ Brown being out helps Smith’s case really easily this week for a great budget play in DFS lineups. Especially what it looks like when Jalen Hurts and Devonta Smith are on FIRE together, just look at that 79-yard touchdown last week.
Start ‘Em
Jalen Hurts
Philadelphia Eagles
VS
New York Giants
(2-5)
DraftKings ($6,800) FanDuel ($8,800)Â
Speaking of Jalen Hurts, he has been the consistent fantasy performer of the Eagles’ offense during the 2025 season up to this point, and that’s still the case after a 326-yard passing and three touchdown day up in Minnesota, so even though the injuries to the Eagles’ offense, he should still have a solid day against the Giants this week in the revenge game of the Week 6 Disaster in the Medowlands.Â
Cam Skattebo
New York Giants
AT
Philadelphia Eagles
(5-2)
DraftKings ($6,600), FanDuel ($7,200)
Suppose you consider any Giants in your DFS lineups at all. In that case, Skattebo is the only and ONLY viable option to play because of the potential of the run game of the Giants can expose that youthful Philadelphia Eagles defensive front. Skattebo is still the play for the Giants, as the Eagles still struggle in the run game a bit last week, but Minnesota exposed them in the pass game more. Keep an eye on Nakobe Dean, though, as he could ruin the game plan for the Giants as Philadelphia’s run defense did look better with him in their base package.
Sit ‘Em
Jaxon Dart
New York Giants
AT
Philadelphia Eagles
(5-2)
DraftKings ($5,500), FanDuel ($7,400)
Dart has shown some flashes this season, including the Week 6 matchup in New York/New Jersey. The Rookie QB has been a bright spot for the Giants this season, but Vic Fangio is probably going to have some strong adjustments for the Ole Miss QB, especially after he tormented his defense with his legs in Week 6. So I may have been wrong about Dart in Week 6, but I’m going to be right this time.Â
Wandale Robinson
New York Giants
AT
Philadelphia Eagles
(5-2)
DraftKings ($5,200), FanDuel ($6,500)
The injuries to the Giants’ receivers make this the easiest sit, which is what I said before he went off in Week 6 in the last matchup, but Eagles CB Quinyon Mitchell did get hurt in that game. So.. I would still think that this is a sit for Robinson, unfortunately, for people who want to play a budget receiver in DFS this week as Mitchell and Dejean will most likely be covering him this week.
Fade of the Game
Defense
New York Giants
AT
Philadelphia Eagles
(5-2)
DraftKings ($2,100), FanDuel ($3,300)
I’ve been telling you to sit New York in general for most of these picks, but the BIGGEST FADE OF THEM ALL IS THE DEFENSE. This defense has struggled by giving up the big play all season long. Just look at their 4th quarter collapse against the Broncos last weekend for more evidence. With Jalen Hurts, coming off that dominant passing game against the best pass defense at that time in Minnesota. So, the Giants with key injuries in that secondary.
