A down day on Wednesday, going just 1-2 ATS. Time to go on another run with a Friday edition of our MLB parlay picks. We still sport a very profitable 62-44 record ATS. Loyal followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have three additional selections on tap for you, along with some additional leans based strictly on the initial line movement. Betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
MLB Parlay Leg#1: Cincinnati Reds ML -110

In the leadoff spot of tonight’s MLB parlay will be the Cincinnati Reds over the Pittsburgh Pirates. We will be in attendance for this one and be rooting for the road team. We spotted a significant reverse line movement here as the Reds opened up as a +123 underdog and have flipped over as the betting favorite.
We normally stay away from the chalk plays, but the sharps are backing Cincinnati. They are seeing just 38% of the money, so you can see that respected money is responsible for the line movement. Despite Pittsburgh being strong at home of late, the Reds are 4-1 SU in their last five and 7-3 in their last 10 as a favorite. We back the Cincinnati Reds for play number one!
MLB Parlay Leg#2: Detroit Tigers TT over 4.5 -115
The Detroit Tigers’ bats let us down on Wednesday, but we are going back to them tonight. Detroit is the biggest chalk play on tonight’s MLB betting slate with Tarik Skubal scheduled to be on the mound. Our backers know this is a green light system play we like to target. The Angels’ pitching staff is allowing right five runs per game on the year. Scheduled Los Angeles starter Kyle Hendricks brings an ERA just under five. In addition, he sports a 5.40 ERA in his last two road starts. The Detroit offense comes in averaging 6.67 runs per game in their last six home games. Detroit Tigers team total over 4.5 runs for play number two!
MLB Parlay Leg#3: Arizona Diamondbacks Alternate TT over 4.5 runs
Closing out tonight’s MLB parlay is the Arizona Diamondbacks team total over 4.5 runs. How do we not go back and keep attacking the Colorado Rockies’ pitching staff that just surrendered 45 runs in three games to the Blue Jays? Now we have to also keep in mind those games were at Coors Field, but still, 45 runs.
The Rockies are scheduled to start Austin Gomber and his 6.18 ERA. In his last three road starts, he has an ERA approaching seven, so that alleviates our concerns that this game is not being played at Coors. Arizona averages 4.83 runs per game, so that is right in line with the 4.5 we need to cash. Arizona Diamondbacks alternate team total over 4.5 runs for play number three!
Additional Leans: Yankees ML, Cardinals ML, Rays ML, Whitesox ML
Final Thoughts
Our MLB parlays are to provide our followers with three individual wagers. We will play these picks SU and then sprinkle some on the parlay. Remember, the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, and parlays in general are just not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting on the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We try and avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep our successful MLB season going and get you another three winners. And remember to: Follow or Fade!
