Not our best effort with Friday’s MLB parlay, going 0-3 ATS and dropping our season record to 69-52 ATS YTD. Time to bounce back to the winning side with a Monday edition of our MLB parlay picks. Loyal followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have three additional selections on tap for you, along with some additional leans based strictly on the initial line movement. Betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
MLB Parlay Leg #1: Pittsburgh Pirates ML -112
Leading off the MLB parlay will be the Pittsburgh Pirates over the Toronto Blue Jays. Two reasons for this selection, the first being the significant reverse line movement. Pittsburgh opened up as a +123 underdog and has flipped to a short favorite at the sportsbooks. All this has taken place despite the Pirates’ only seeing 28% of the money. Second is the presence of Paul Skenes on the bump for Pittsburgh. We expect a bounce back from him tonight after getting knocked around a bit by the Brewers last Tuesday night. The Pirates are a tougher out at home as well, sitting at 34-29 overall at PNC Park. Pittsburgh Pirates moneyline for play number one!
MLB Parlay Leg #2: Atlanta Braves TT over 4.5 -138
The middle leg features the Atlanta Braves team total over 4.5 runs. The Braves are the second biggest chalk on the MLB betting slate tonight ans scheduled to face White Sox starter Yoendrys Gomez, who comes in with a 5.56 ERA on the year. Gomez will be the opener for a Chicago pitching staff that has allowed six or more runs in three of their last five games. Atlanta’s offense has scored 59 runs in its last nine games. The implied game total for this one has climbed to nine, so we like the probabilities of the Braves hitting the number we need to cash. Atlanta Braves team total over 4.5 runs for play number two!
MLB Parlay Leg #3: Los Angeles Dodgers TT over 6.5 -136

Our loyal Total Apex followers know we love to pick on the Colorado Rockies staff, despite getting burned with this play a couple of times last week, we still go back to targeting the run total of a heavy chalk. The Dodgers are the biggest betting favorite tonight and play in the game with the highest implied game total.
The Rockies have allowed nearly six runs per game in their last five overall, and starter Kyle Freeland sports a 5.18 ERA. Freeland comes off the 7.1 innings of shutout ball at St. Louis in his last start, but returns to Coors tonight. In his last home start against Toronto, he allowed seven hits and six earned runs over 4.2 innings of work. We all know how potent the Dodgers’ offense is. Give us the Los Angeles team total over 6.5 runs for play number three!
Additional Leans: Diamondbacks ML
Final Thoughts:
Our MLB parlays are to provide our followers with three individual wagers. We will play these picks SU and then sprinkle some on the parlay. Remember, the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, and parlays in general are just not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting on the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We try to avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep our successful MLB season going and get you another three winners. And remember to: Follow or Fade!
