parlay

Back for a Tuesday edition of our MLB parlay of the day. Yesterday was not kind to us as we missed on two selections and finished the day at 1-2 ATS. Our season total now sits at 10-8 ATS overall. All our followers know we seek out games seeing respected money or those where Vegas books have a heavy liability. In other words, the betting outcome that Vegas books need to profit on the day. We have another three selections on tap for you today. The betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.

Parlay Leg #1: New York Mets Team Total over 4.5

To open tonight’s parlay, we are going right back to the New York Mets team total again. We got burned by this yesterday night with the Mets plating just two runs last night. New York is once again the second biggest chalk play of the night and will look to wake up their bats. They are scheduled to face the White Sox right-hander Johnathan Cannon, and despite last night’s offensive output, are still averaging over four runs per game.

Cannon has a respectable 3.76 ERA on the season, but is just 1-5 with a 4.76 ERA on the road this season. In addition, all six of his home runs allowed this year have come on the road. We look for the Metropolitans to bounce back and go over 4.5 total runs for play number one.

Parlay Leg #2: Toronto Blue Jays ML +124

The middle leg will be the Toronto Blue Jays moneyline over the Texas Rangers. The Bluejays came through for us yesterday, and we are going right back to them. We spotted our staple play in a reverse line movement with Texas currently netting over 70% of the spread and moneyline wagers, and yet the line has continued to move in the Jays’ direction. After opening up at +166, Toronto now sits at +124.

Toronto is 7-3 SU in their last 10 as an underdog for +5.27 units. On the other side, Texas has been reeling of late. The Rangers have lost four of five and are 2-8 SU in their last 10 games. We back the Toronto Blue Jays on the moneyline for play number two.

Parlay Leg #3: Miami Marlins +136

Closing out tonight’s MLB parlay will be the Miami Marlins on the money line over the San Diego Padres. We spotted a significant reverse line movement here with the Padres seeing 85% of both the spread and money bets. Despite that, the Marlins’ line has dropped from its opening +180 down to its current +136. San Diego is 1-4 in their last five and 3-7 in the last 10 as a favorite. We will back the Miami Marlins here tonight in the final leg of tonight’s parlay.

Final Thoughts

The beauty of our parlays is that we can provide you with three individual plays. Remember, we will always play these picks SU because the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1 and not a long-term profitable betting strategy. We look to avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on social media as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s get back on the winning side tonight and get three winners, and remember: Follow or Fade!
