We return for a Sunday Edition MLB parlay. We narrowly missed again with Thursday night’s parlay, with the Pirates coming up short. That 2-1 day brought our season total to 7-5 ATS overall.
If you followed us during the NFL and NCAA basketball seasons, you know our selections target games seeing respected money or those where Vegas books have a heavy liability. In other words, the betting outcome that Vegas books need to profit on the day. We have three selections on tap today that are seeing sharp money. The betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
Parlay Leg #1: Baltimore Orioles ML +108
The opening leg of today’s parlay features the Baltimore Orioles over the Boston Red Sox. The Orioles are no doubt one of, if not the most disappointing team in the baseball this season. However, the sharps are backing the Orioles today. Boston is seeing over 85% of both the spread and money bets and the line has moved in the Orioles direction. Baltimore opened at +125 and now currently sits at +108.
The Orioles have played a bit better of late, going 2-2 SU in their last four and winning in Boston yesterday afternoon. They are also a profitable +1.45 units in the last 10 games at Fenway Park. We are simply backing the Orioles behind a staple play of ours in a reverse line movement. Baltimore Orioles on the moneyline for play number one. hWe ttps://www.scoresandodds.com/mlb/orioles-vs-red-so
Parlay Leg #2: Tampa Bay Rays ML -108
The middle leg features the Tampa Bay Rays over the Toronto Blue Jays. Another reverse line movement here with the Jays catching 59% of the spread bets and over 60% of the moneyline bets, and we have seen a decent line swing in favor of the Rays. Tampa opened at +122, and now both teams are sitting at -108 at FanDuel Sportsbook.
Tampa is 7-3 SU in their last 10 overall against Toronto and 6-4 SU in their last 10 on the road. The Rays are set to face a very solid Toronto starter in Chris Bassitt, but will send Ryan Pepiot out to battle him. Pepiot has a 3.50 ERA across his last three starts and pitched at least six innings in all three outings.
Toronto is just 4-6 SU in the last 10 games as a favorite and has lost four of the last five versus the Rays. Tampa Bay Rays on the moneyline for play number two.
Parlay Leg #3: Chicago White Sox ML +108
The anchor leg and final play for today will be the Chicago White Sox over the Texas Rangers. Another significant reverse line movement is going on in this one. Texas is taking 76% of the spread bets and nearly 85% of the money, and the line has swung in favor of Chicago. The White Sox opened up at +142 on the moneyline and currently sit all the way down to +108.
Chicago, despite being 17-35 SU, is a very respectable 28-24 ATS this season. They have also won two of their last three games and three of five entering today’s contest. In addition, Chicago is 6-4 SU in the last ten games at home and won three straight verus the Rangers. We will back the White Sox on the moneyline for play number three.
Final Thoughts
The beauty of our parlays is that we can provide you with three individual plays. Remember, in addition to the parlay, we will always play these picks SU because parlays are not a long-term profitable betting strategy. We avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites.
