With the first half of the season almost over, fantasy players will still have some July summer fun before the All-Star break for today’s MLB DFS fantasy action. This Friday’s 15-game slate will be a fun time for fantasy lineups tonight. MLB teams are trying to get through this weekend before the All-Star break with fantasy players could still get some cash prizes.
One of Friday’s feature games for today’s MLB DFS pools is the start of the New York Mets hosting the Colorado Rockies. Another fantasy game for players today is the Cleveland Guardians facing the Tampa Bay Rays, at Tropicana Field.

July 12th MLB DFS Best Starts
3B Mark Vientos, Colorado Rockies at. New York Mets ($4,600 – DraftKings)
To start your weekend fantasy action, Mark Vientos should be in your MLB DFS lineups. Vientos, in the win against the Nationals, went 1-4 with an RBI yesterday. Mark Vientos has been getting hot for the Mets and has been a staple of the lineup.
New York is going against a weak Rockies pitching staff and it could go well for Vientos. Fantasy players should expect a multi-hit game from Vientos, including a home run.
1B Ryan Mountcastle, New York Yankees at. Baltimore Orioles ($4,700 – DraftKings)
The next player for your fantasy lineups to have tonight is Ryan Mountcastle. In the loss against the Cubs yesterday, Mountcastle went 1-3. Baltimore has been on a cold streak lately but could recover tonight.
With the Yankees weak starting pitching, Mountcastle could bounce back. Fantasy players could see a home run from the O’s slugger tonight.
SS Oneil Cruz , Pittsburgh Pirates at. Chicago Cubs ($5,000 – DraftKings)
The last player to have on your fantasy lineups is the Pirates, Oneil Cruz. In the win against the Brewers, Cruz went 1-4 during the shutout win.
While the Pirates star hasn’t been consistent, he does well in power. Cruz could have a strong game against the White Sox. Fantasy players could see Cruz go yard against the White Sox’s pitching.

1B Christian Walker, Atlanta Braves at. Arizona Diamondbacks ($5,200 – DraftKings)
For MLB DFS fantasy players, Christian Walker should not be in your fantasy lineups tonight. In the win against the Braves, Walker went 0-3 with a strikeout in the win against Atlanta.
Christian Walker has been doing well for the Diamondbacks but has been struggling. The Arizona Diamondbacks have been mediocre this season and could struggle tonight.
SS Marcus Semien, Texas Rangers at. Houston Astros ($4,100 – DraftKings)
Another player, who should be benched for your fantasy lineups, should be Marcus Semien. In the loss against the Angels last night, Semien went 2-4 with a walk. During this season Semien has been inconsistent, and could struggle tonight.

OF Brenton Doyle, Colorado Rockies at. New York Mets ($4,300 – DraftKings)
The last player to have in your MLB DFS bench should be the Rockies Brenton Doyle. Doyle in the loss against the Reds, went 0-3 during the loss on Thursday.
Colorado has been on a cold streak this season and Doyle could be having a cold weekend. The Mets have been on fire since June and Colorado could be a victim.
July 12th MLB DFS Best Stack
The MLB DFS stack for Friday should be the Baltimore Orioles, Gunnar Henderson, Jordan Westburg, and Anthony Santander. Baltimore has been weak this week with losses against the Cubs but could return to form. With their top hitters against the Yankees rotation, they could have a great game tonight.
Gunnar Henderson could have a strong game against the Yankees tonight with Jordan Westburg. Along with the two younger Orioles hitters is Santander. While Anthony Santander has struggled, he has been a good power hitter this season.
