With the first half of the season last week almost over, fantasy players will still have the summer action before the All-Star break for today’s MLB DFS fantasy action. This Thursday’s 12-game slate will be a fun time for fantasy lineups tonight. MLB teams are trying to get through this week before the All-Star break but fantasy players could still get some cash prizes.
One of Thursday’s feature games for today’s MLB DFS pools is the finale of the Milwaukee Brewers facing the Chicago Cubs. Another fantasy game for players today is the New York Yankees facing the Tampa Bay Rays, at Tropicana Field.

July 11th MLB DFS Best Starts
2B Brice Turang, Pittsburgh Pirates at. Milwaukee Brewers ($4,700 – DraftKings)
A player to start your Thursday afternoon MLB DFS games is the Brewers’ Brice Turang. Turang in the win against the Pirates went 1-4 with a run for the Brewers win last night.
Milwaukee is trying to keep their dominance over the Pirates this season. Pittsburgh has been a disaster and Turang could give fantasy players a win today.
SS Ezequiel Tovar, Colorado Rockies at. Cincinnati Reds ($4,300 – DraftKings)
Another player to have in your fantasy lineups is the Rockies, Ezequiel Tovar. Tovar, in the win against the Reds, went 2-5 with a double last night for the win.
While the Rockies are not doing well, Ezequiel Tovar has been excellent this season. Fantasy players, see Tovar have a multi-hit for your lineups today. Even with the Rockies being weak, Cincinnati has been weaker.
OF/1B J.D. Martinez, Washington Nationals at. New York Mets ($4,800 – DraftKings)
For the last player to have in your fantasy lineups, is the New York Mets J.D. Martinez. In the win against the Nationals, Martinez went 1-4 with a run, on Wednesday night. While the Mets veteran hitter has been cold, he is due for a big game today.
Even with facing MacKenzie, the Nationals starter has been struggling. Fantasy players could see Martinez hit a home run against the Nationals.
July 11th MLB DFS Sits
1B Spencer Steer, Colorado Rockies at. Cincinnati Reds ($5,000 – DraftKings)
For MLB DFS fantasy players, Spencer Steer should not be in your fantasy lineups. In the loss against the Rockies, Steer went 0-4 with a strikeout in the close game loss.
Spencer Steer has been inconsistent for the Reds this season and could be sluggish today. While the Reds slugger has 14 home runs, his batting average has been weak for the team.
OF Jesse Winker, Washington Nationals at. New York Mets ($4,100 – DraftKings)
Another player, who should be benched for your fantasy lineups, should be Jesse Winker. In the loss against the Mets last night, Winker went 0-3 with a walk having no impact. During this series against the Mets, Jesse Winker has been hitless against the Mets.
Fantasy players should not have the Nationals veteran on their lineups due to his struggles. For now, Winker could cost you cash prizes for your MLB DFS lineups.
OF James Wood, Washington Nationals at. New York Mets ($4,200 – DraftKings)
The last player to have in your MLB DFS bench should be the Nationals’ James Wood. During the loss against the Mets last night, James Wood went 0-3 with two strikeouts.
While he has potential, James Wood has been struggling during this series. The Mets have shut down Wood during this series and could struggle again. Fantasy players should have Wood on the bench for today against the lefty.
July 11th MLB DFS Best Stack
The MLB DFS stack for Thursday night should be the New York Mets, Brandon Nimmo, Mark Vientos, and Francisco Alvarez. New York has dominated the series against the Nationals and could do well today. The Mets could have a great day against MacKenzie Gore. In the past game against Gore, the Mets won on the first day of July.
Brandon Nimmo has also been getting hot for the Mets in the last couple of games and could homer again. Along with Nimmo, is the hitting of Mark Vientos and Francisco Alvarez. This series has been great for the Mets hitters, and fantasy players could do well today.
