The summer heat is here, and so is hot and fiery MLB DFS; start and sit for your fantasy lineups. This Sunday’s 15-game slate will have plenty of fantasy action for baseball fans to end Father’s Day weekend. Today could be fun for your DraftKings fantasy pools for cash prizes to end the weekend.
One of Sunday’s feature games for today’s MLB DFS pools will be the Chicago Cubs hosting the St.Louis Cardinals to end the weekend. Another great fantasy game for fantasy players is the Oakland Athletics going to Minnesota to face the Twins.
This Father’s Day weekend will end with some hot MLB DFS fantasy pools, and you can win cash prizes.
June 16th MLB DFS Best Starts

OF Seiya Suzuki, St. Louis Cardinals at Chicago Cubs ($4,300 – DraftKings)
To start your Father’s Day Sunday, Seiya Suzuki is your start for your MLB DFS weekend. In the win against the Cardinals, Suzuki went 2-3 with a walk at Wrigley Field. The Cubs have been mediocre, but Seiya Suzki, besides injury, has been doing well.
Today’s game could go well for the Cubs against their weak opponents. Suzuki could help you win cash prizes.
SS Carlos Correa, Oakland Athletics at Minnesota Twins ($4,400 – DraftKings)
The next start for your fantasy pools today will be the Minnesota Twins, superstar Carlos Correa. Correa, in his last game, went 1-4 in a win against the A’s on Friday. In today’s doubleheader, Correa could have a strong one against the A’s pitching staff.
Even with recent struggles, Correa could break out for fantasy players today to end Father’s Day weekend. Correa could have a strong game for fantasy players this Sunday afternoon.
1B Ryan Mountcastle, Philadelphia Phillies at Baltimore Orioles ($4,600 – DraftKings)
The last start for your MLB DFS fantasy pools is Ryan Mountcastle of the Baltimore Orioles. Yesterday the Orioles slugger in the win against the Phillies, went 1-4 at Camden Park.
This game could have the Orioles slugger do well against the Phillies pitching. Ryan Mountcastle has done well for the Orioles this season and could contribute to another win today.
June 16th MLB DFS Sits

2B/3B Jordan Westburg, San Diego Padres at New York Mets ($5,300 – DraftKings)
A benching for this Sunday’s MLB DFS is, sadly, the Baltimore Orioles, Jordan Westburg. In the win against the Phillies yesterday, Westburg went 0-4 for the Orioles on Saturday.
Along with the struggle on Saturday, Wesrburg has been struggling to hit this weekend. While it could be good pitching, Westburg has been irrelevant in this series against the Phillies. For this Father’s Day, Westburg should be avoided today to try and win today’s fantasy pools.
2B Jake Cronenworth, San Diego Padres at New York Mets ($4,300 – DraftKings)
Another sit for your fantasy weekend pools is the struggling Jake Croneworth of the Padres. While the Padres in this series have been floundering, Cronenworth has been a victim of the Mets’ pitching. In his last game, Cronenworth went 0-3 with a pair of strikeouts.
This series could have the young second baseman struggle more and could sit out for fantasy players.
1B/3B Donovan Solano, San Diego Padres at New York Mets ($3,200 – DraftKings)
The last sit for today’s MLB fantasy pools is Donovan Solano of the Padres. Solano has been a non-factor for the Padres this series being hitless in both games.
This series has been a nightmare for the veteran hitter and could need to sit on the bleachers today. Fantasy players should stay away from Solano until he is away from Citi Field and Queens, New York.
June 16th MLB DFS Best Stack
https://gty.im/2157749822
Today’s MLB DFS’s best stack, the trio of Gunnar Henderson, Ryan Mountcastle, and Anthony Santander, will be good picks. The Orioles hitters have been getting hot to start the summer and could do well against the Phillies today. Gunnar Henderson has been doing well this season and so is the aforementioned Ryan Mountcastle.
While the O’s outfielder Anthony Santander has been struggling at times, he has hit for power. The power of Santander has been helping the Orioles win games for the past two weeks and could continue today. For fantasy players, having this trio stack could help you win some fantasy games for Father’s Day.
These games will have a lot of MLB DFS action to end the weekend and more to come on Total Apex Fantasy.
