MLB DFS Best Start/Sits For 09/09/2024

MLB DFS

A new week is here and so is the hot MLB DFS action to start this week with style. Monday’s nine-game slate will start the week with a bang for fantasy players. Another September fantasy week is starting, and players could win cash prizes tonight.

One of Monday’s featured games for today’s MLB DFS pools is the Baltimore Orioles and the Boston Red Sox. Another game for fantasy players is the Los Angeles Angels and the Minnesota Twins.

Another week of September is here, and with 19 games left, fantasy players could start the week with cash tonight.

September 9th MLB DFS Best Starts

To start tonight’s MLB DFS fantasy pools, Maikel Garcia of the Royals should be the one to start. In a win against the Twins, Garcia went 1-3 with a strikeout yesterday.

Garcia has been one of the Royals’ better hitters this season, even with a weak batting average. The Royals star currently has a hitting streak going and could give fantasy players a win tonight.

3B Jose Miranda, Los Angeles Angels at Minnesota Twins ($4,000 – DraftKings/2,500-Fanduel)

Jose Miranda of the Minnesota Twins is the next player in tonight’s fantasy baseball lineups. During the loss against the Royals last night, Miranda went 1-4 in the shut-out loss.

Miranda has been doing well for the Twins this season and could have a multi-hit game tonight. With their Wild Card hopes in the air, Miranda could have a solid game for the Twins and fantasy players.

1B/OF J.D. Martinez, New York Mets at Toronto Blue Jays ($4,500 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

The last player to have for your fantasy lineups is J.D. Martinez of the New York Mets today. During the loss against the Reds yesterday, Martinez did not play in the last game in the homestand.

Martinez has been doing well for the Mets this September and could have a home run tonight. Against a weak Blue Jays pitching staff, fantasy players could have fun with Martinez at the plate.

September 9th MLB DFS Sits

SS Anthony Volpe, Kansas City Royals at New York Yankees (4,100 – DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

Anthony Volpe is the first player that should be on your MLB DFS fantasy benches this Monday night. In the win against the Cubs, Volpe went 0-3 with three strikeouts and an RBI. Volpe has been struggling since the All-Star break and could have another weak game.

There is a chance he could be hitless tonight. Volpe for fantasy players could cost them a game, so it’s best not to put him in fantasy lineups tonight.

C Logan O’Hoppe, Los Angeles Angels at Minnesota Twins ($4,000 – DraftKings/2,900-Fanduel)

Logan O’Hoppe of the Los Angeles Angels is another player to put on tonight’s fantasy benches. In a loss against the Rangers, O’Hoppe went 0-4 with three strikeouts.

O’Hoppe is getting cold this September and fantasy players should be wary of their options in picking him. While he has power, the Angels catcher should be avoided due to his weak average and OPS. Fantasy players should ignore O’Hoppe until he gets hot.

OF Cedric Mullins, Baltimore Orioles at Boston Red Sox ($4,600-DraftKings/3,000-Fanduel)

Cedric Mullins of the Baltimore Orioles is the last player to sit for tonight’s MLB DFS fantasy pools. During the loss against the Tampa Bay Rays, Mullins went 2-4 yesterday.

Mullins has been sluggish this season for the O’s and could struggle again. Fantasy players should ignore Mullins due to his weak hitting in the past few weeks and more.

September 9th MLB DFS Best Stack

Fantasy players for Sunday afternoon’s MLB DFS stack should be Gunnar Henderson, Anthony Santander, and Adley Rutschman. Despite being cold lately, the Orioles are still one of the better-hitting teams this season

Henderson has been a solid player this season and could have a home run tonight. Fantasy players will need to have Henderson against a broken Red Sox team.

Along with Henderson is Santander and his amazing power. Santander could have a multi-home run game against the Sox.

There is also the sophomore rookie catcher for the Orioles in Rutschman. Rutschman has been doing well this season and could have a multi-hit game for the O’s.

Fantasy players should pick this MLB DFS stack of the night to start the week with cash prizes.
