This season has been strange for the Nationals but could get better with Jesse Winker getting hot. Winker in his last game went 1-2 against the Braves yesterday.
During the series, Winker is doing well against the Braves and could do so again. Jesse Winker could also help out MLB DFS owners to win a game today for their pools.
OF Giancarlo Stanton, New York Yankees at Los Angeles Angels (4,800 – DraftKings)
With the Angels being a disaster of a team, Giancarlo Stanton could get a comeback tonight. Stanton in his last game was 1-4 against the Angels pitching staff. While Stanton’s batting average is weak, his power numbers help him. Against the Angels’ awful pitching, Stanton could have a monster game. Seeing the New York Mets in 2024 is depressing and so will starting Christian Scott. While Scott is proving to be a quality starter, he has flaws in walks and giving up big hits.
In his last start, Scott went 6.0 innings, giving up two earned runs and striking out four in the no-decision. The Mets are a disaster this season and with Scott pitching it will get worse for fantasy owners tonight.
SP Patrick Sandoval, New York Yankees at. Los Angeles Angels ($6,000 – DraftKings)
With the Yankees’ hot bats going through the West Coast right now, the Angels’ pitching staff should be avoided. In tonight’s game, Patrick Sandoval should be avoided at all costs.
In his last start, Sandoval went 3.2 innings, giving up eight earned runs and striking out four batters. With an era of five this season, Sandoval has been on the bench for a while for MLB DFS teams.
1B Matt Olson, Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves ($3,000 – DraftKings)
The Atlanta Braves are losing stars due to injuries and underachieving, including Matt Olson. In his last game, Olson went 1-3 and scored a run but wasn’t effective. Atlanta’s first baseman is having an underachieving season with a .230 batting average and about eight home runs.
