We thought we had the parlay as well, but the Dodgers failed to cover the 6.5 runs against the Rockies’ subpar pitching staff. Back to work with a Tuesday edition of our parlay picks. Yesterday’s results raised our record to 71-52 ATS YTD. Loyal followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. MLB Parlay Leg#1: Houston Astros ML +132
Leading off today’s MLB parlay will be the Houston Astros over the Detroit Tigers. Tough spot here for the Astros as they are scheduled to face Tigers’ ace Tarik Skubal. However, we have some sharp money coming in on the Houston in this one. They are seeing 36% of the bets and 85% of the money. This is not the typical reverse line movement we regularly target, but a burner line indicating respected money within that 85%. Houston plays well as an underdog, going 23-16 in such games last season and 6-4 in their last 10. Houston Astros money line for play number one!
MLB Parlay Leg#2: New York Mets Alternate TT over 4.5 -166
The middle leg features the New York Mets alternate team total over 4.5 runs. New York is one of the bigger betting favorites on the MLB slate tonight, and their offense has been in high gear. They are averaging just under seven runs per game in their last seven overall. That pair well with the Nationals’ pitching staff, allowing six runs per game. Probable Washington starter Jake Irvin brings a 5.14 ERA into tonight’s matchup against the Metropolitans. In addition, over his last three starts, Irwin has allowed 14 earned runs in 13.1 innings pitched. We like the Mets’ bats tonight and will go with the New York Mets alternate team total over 4.5 runs for play number two!
MLB Parlay Leg#3: Los Angeles Dodgers Alternate TT over 6.5 -158
The closer spot for tonight’s MLB parlay is the Los Angeles Dodgers alternate team total over 6.5 runs. Overall, picking on the Rockies staff has been very profitable, but not of late. However, we are due for some positive regression because the data tells us how bad the Colorado pitching staff is. They yield six runs per game, and their scheduled starter, Austin Gomber, is winless in 2025 with a 6.75 ERA. Los Angeles is the biggest chalk on the betting slate and plays in the game with the highest implied game total. Give us the Dodgers team total over 6.5 runs for play number three!
