Mark Andrews 2024 Dynasty Outlook

tight end

Since being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens, Mark Andrews has established himself as one of the premier tight ends in the NFL and the top receiving threat in his team year in and year out. With a unique combination of size, speed, and receiving ability, Andrews has become a key component of the Ravens’ passing attack. The question is: can he maintain this elite status as the league evolves?

With this in mind, in this article, we´ll explore what you can expect from Mark Andrew over the coming years.

Chosen 86th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens, Andrews quickly emerged as a favorite target for Lamar Jackson. His style of play includes an ability to create mismatches against defenders with ease and make some really tough receptions. This has made him a focal point in the Ravens’ offense. At 29 years old, Andrews is at the peak of his career with the potential to maintain his level for a few more seasons at the very least.

Mark Andrews Dynasty Potential

In dynasty formats, Mark Andrews is considered one of the top TE choices in the league. With several productive seasons under his belt, he has solidified his place and consistent production in his offense.

While Andrews has enjoyed success, the Ravens’ offensive dynamics like a run-heavy scheme and the emergence of younger players like Rashod Bateman and Zay Flowers could influence his target share. Nonetheless, his chemistry with Jackson remains strong, and as long as he stays healthy, Andrews is expected to be a consistent producer for many more years.

Mark Andrews’ 2022-2023 Performance

In the 2022 season, Andrews finished with over 847 receiving yards and 5 TDs, showcasing his ability to make big plays and serve as a reliable safety valve for Jackson. Despite dealing with some injuries, his production remained impressive.

In 2023, he continued to shine, amassing 544 yards and 6 TDs, further solidifying his status as a top-tier tight end. Though not as many receiving yards, Andrews is still a tremendous red-zone threat and he has the stats to back this up.

For 2024, with the arrival of Derrick Henry, it seems the Ravens are going with an all-out rushing attack. However, Andrews can still be valuable as a safety valve and in the red zone, so expect him to at least secure the same level of production as last year.

Final Thoughts

Mark Andrews is a player to seriously consider for your TE position in dynasty leagues due to his proven talent and consistent production. While the tight-end landscape can be volatile, Andrews is very consistent. All things considered, you´ll likely find him in the early to mid rounds of the draft.
