Jalen Hurts is coming off winning the Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP, and people are still doubting his skills at the position by saying he’s not top-five at the position or even a franchise quarterback.
Those people are STUPID as HELL, looking at you, Chase Daniel. The Eagles quarterback has been consistently a top-five option at the quarterback fantasy-wise since the 2022 season and is poised to have another STRONG fantasy season! Here’s a look at Hurt’s 2025 Dynasty Outlook.
Jalen Hurts 2024 Production
Jalen Hurts had a stellar season from a fantasy quarterback perspective in 2024, where he had 2,903 passing yards with 18 passing touchdowns, while adding 630 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. He also threw only five interceptions after a career high in interceptions in 2023, which was a huge improvement from the Former Crimson Tide and Sooners quarterback. Hurts averaged 21.0 fantasy points per game according to FantasyData, and that was equal to his 2023 average.
The eye test shows you that Hurts was better by far in 2024 than he was in 2023, but he did have a small dip in fantasy production last season in total points from 2023. But 2025 should be even better for the reigning Super Bowl MVP. Here are his 2025 fantasy projections for fantasy football.
Jalen Hurts 2025 Projections
Hurts is currently QB4 on ESPN’s 2025 Projections behind Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and division rival Jayden Daniels. ESPN has Hurt’s statline as the following for 2025: 3,348 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, nine interceptions, 632 rushing yards, and 13 rushing touchdowns for a total of 331.43 total points, which is the most out of the four. It’s weird how they came up with those ratings, but I guess the potential of the other three guys to exceed those projections is the difference maker between them above Hurts in the grand scheme of things.
Plus, he is also already working on some little things with his mechanics, according to QB coach John Beck on the Rish Eisen Show the other day, meaning his passing should be a lot better in 2025 than it was in 2024, meaning more targets for AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. Speaking of improvements he is making, here is his dynasty outlook going forward.
Jalen Hurts Dynasty Outlook
Hurts is always a hard worker when it comes to his mechanics and improving, and that mentality is going to keep him in the upper echelon for years to come because he’s got that Jordan and Mamba Mentality as his dad was his high school coach.
Hurts has had subtle improvements in his game every year other than 2023, and I think that trend continues starting in 2025. Dynasty Owners should be ecstatic to have Hurts on their teams for the purpose that he’s going to have a lot of points in fantasy a lot of the time. Plus, the running game should be even more elite with the duo of him and Saquon Barkley going forward over the next few years.
Final Thoughts
The reigning Super Bowl MVP is going to have the right mentality to defend the title, and potential fantasy owners should love Hurts in this spot this year, with the other three quarterbacks in general. Hurts has the potential this year to be the best fantasy quarterback if everything comes together as if the mechanics he is learning work like he thinks they will. Hurts is going to be an even better passer of the football. Total Apex Fantasy is the place to be for more NFL Dynasty Outlooks throughout the offseason.
