Kittle’s fantasy outlook according to CBS Fantasy Football ranks 7th of tight ends this season for DFS fantasy. He averaged about 12 PPR points a game. His production has slowed down a bit due to the high volume of incredibly talented players on the San Francisco 49ers team such as Deebo Samuel Sr., Christian McCaffrey, and Brandon Aiyuk.
George Kittle 2024 Fantasy Outlook at the Tight End Position
George Kittle’s 2023 season stats were still very impressive for a tight end. He ended the 2023 season with 90 targets, 65 receptions, 1020 yards, an average of 15.7 yards per catch, and had 6 touchdowns. Kittle was voted in the top 100 players by his teammates, current NFL players for putting on a First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl-worthy season in 2023.
The 31-year old is still a great option in the later rounds of the draft. Kittle is expected to be picked up as the 70th pick overall in this year’s 2024 draft. His projections for this season are playing 17 games, 85 targets, 61 receptions, 916 yards, averaging 15 yards per catch, and 7 touchdowns.
The San Francisco 49ers bye week is week 8, since Kittle is good for a 70th overall pick he would be a tight end for a backup or flex player. It is a trend in older NFL players that production does slow down. Less action, fewer touches, and not so much involved in the offense as younger players. This will not stop George Kittle from loving the game of football and bringing the positive energy he brings to his teammates during games.

George Kittle will continue to dominate in Kyle Shanahan’s offense for the 49ers. Brock Purdy will continue to utilize Kittle in his ability to get open in space and create offense for the 49ers. Kittle is still a top-10 tight end coming into the 2024 NFL Season and any fantasy owner will be lucky to have him on the team. Depending on where you are in the draft do not feel discouraged when top tight ends go off the board. Kittle is still a top tight end in the league.
Kittle is a good pick for any fantasy draft this season whether is a DFS; PPR or non-PPR league, daily fantasy drafts, or a dynasty league. He is projected to get at least 12 or more points a game. This will help boost any fantasy team every week with an easy at least 12 points a game. If Kittle scores a touchdown then that’s an extra six points that can help a team blow past their opponent.
The 49ers made it back to the Super Bowl in the 2023-2024 season they lost against the Kansas City Chiefs again. They are hoping to go back to the Super Bowl and be the dominant team they were in the NFC. I would not put anything past this talented team and the work ethic that Head Coach Kyle Shanahan brings to the offense of the 49ers.
