Elic Ayomanor 2025 Fantasy Outlook: Potential Rookie Starter?

Another 4th round rookie could start at the wide receiver position, as Elic Ayomanor could step in as the third option from day one. While top rookie receivers get the hype, there could be a few later-round prospects that could rise through the ranks as potential fantasy steals. The Stanford receiver has the opportunity and prospect profile to become a volume sponge for a potential rookie-to-rookie connection with Ward.

Although he had a down season in 2024 due to injuries, Ayomanor had over 1,000 yards and back-to-back 60 catch and six touchdowns seasons at Stanford. If anything else, while he may not be the biggest play threat for the Titans, he could rack up receptions in Tennessee and potentially become more consistent than even Ridley.

Fantasy Pros has him taken right before Lockett as the 81st receiver in PPR, not being drafted currently. Ayomanor should be considered a waiver flyer still with the easiest strength of schedule against the position. With another projected rookie starter like Dont’e Thornton Jr. in Las Vegas for the Raiders, it is worth considering taking one in the later rounds or picking up to stash down the line.

Elic Ayomanor 2025 Fantasy Outlook

According to Titans beat reporter Easton Freeze, Ayomanor is slated to be the third starter alongside Calvin Ridley and veteran Tyler Lockett, with Treylon Burks’ spot unclear. The 4th round rookie at 22 years old brings size at 6’2″ and 206 pounds and could be a contested catch threat for rookie Cam Ward to throw to.

The Stanford receiver still brings enough speed, running a 4.44 at the NFL Scouting Combine. He could be a trusted rookie target for Ward right away in Brian Callahan’s offense. Tennessee will run it back with the Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears duo at running back, but with Ward and Callahan, expect more passing volume to go around compared to last season with Will Levis.
