The 9-2 Philadelphia Eagles travel via bus down to Baltimore to play the 7-4 Ravens who are still behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. Philly will have the opportunity to keep their huge lead in the NFC East with the win so this game means more to Baltimore because of the division race. We finally get that Jalen Hurts vs. Lamar Jackson game that some fans have wanted to see for a while now.
Eagles vs. Ravens DFS Start ‘Ems
Here are a few of the players that we are leaning on heavily in this game. These players are in a good spot to put together a solid performance and have a favorable matchup.
AJ Brown ($8,300 Draft Kings, $8,800 FanDuel)
Brown is coming off another 100-yard receiving game against the Rams and faces a Ravens secondary that has given up huge games to wideouts this season including a over 200-yard receiving day to Ja’Marr Chase a few weeks ago. I expect Brown to have over 100 yards again this weekend.
Saquon Barkley ($8,500 Draft Kings, $9,200 FanDuel)
SAQUON is coming off a HUGE 255-yard rushing day and 302 all-purpose yards as well. He is firmly in the race for the MVP trophy at the moment and I think he’ll have another successful day against the Ravens especially if Roquan Smith doesn’t play for Baltimore on Sunday. Look for Barkley to continue his hot pace.
Eagles vs. Ravens DFS Sit ‘Ems
On the flip side of things, here are a few of the players we are sitting in this one.
Zay Flowers ($6,200 Draft Kings, $7,100 FanDuel)
Two Words, Quintomno Bay. Quinyon Mitchell and the rest of this Eagles’ secondary will create some problems for these wide receivers in this game including Flowers first and foremost. As you’ll see later I still like Lamar this week because of his mobility and rushing ability. We could see a huge play for Flowers but the volume isn’t going to be there consistently enough for Flowers to be a huge play for DFS this week.
Derrick Henry ($7,800 Draft Kings, $9,000 FanDuel)
Derrick Henry unfortunately is a sit for me this week because of the Eagles’ run defense. Yes, Henry is having a great season but he hasn’t faced a front seven like this one that Philadelphia will bring to the table this weekend in Baltimore. I also think that this will be one of those games that Baltimore will get away from the run like they tend to do in big moments.
Total Apex Lock of the Game
Both QBS (Hurts: $7,700 Draft Kings, $9,200 FanDuel, Jackson:$8,000 Draft Kings, $8,700 FanDuel)
Both quarterbacks will have a huge day especially Hurts because Baltimore’s pass defense is so horrendous this season for some weird reason. But Lamar has the ability to possibly keep up with the Eagles offense because like I was saying in the Zay Flowers paragraph, his mobility and the big play. Look for the shootout to happen in Baltimore this weekend.
Total Apex Fade of the Game
Ravens Defense ($2,900 Draft Kings, $3,900 FanDuel)
This Ravens defense is going to give up a lot to this dynamic Eagles offense in this game especially if DeVonta Smith comes back, he’s is questionable after practicing these last two days. Look for the Eagles’ weapons to overwhelm this young Ravens defense, especially in the passing game like the Bengals were able to do.
Conclusion
Philly and Baltimore will have the best game in Week 13 by far this weekend. I favor Philadelphia in this one slightly because I believe in the Eagles’ weapons more than I do the Ravens’ weapons. This game will be one of the shootouts that will come down to the very end of the game most likely. For more Week 13 DFS articles, follow along with Total Apex Fantasy throughout the weekend.
