The Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) are visiting the LA Rams (5-5) on Sunday Night Football this week. This should be a great matchup with two of the highest-scoring teams in the NFL. The Eagles are coming into this matchup on a six-game winning streak. The Rams are coming off a win against the New England Patriots.

Here are a few of the players that we are leaning on heavily in this game. These players are in a good spot to put together a solid performance and have a favorable matchup.

Puka Nacua, WR, LA Rams, ($7,300 DraftKings; $8,600 Fanduel)

Puka Nacua has been Matthew Stafford’s favorite target in the past few games. Nacua caught 7 of his 9 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown against the Patriots. He made an unbelievable diving catch in the end zone. The Rams superstar continues to make big plays for Stafford as a reliable target.

Nacua has 40 targets, 28 receptions, 373 receiving yards, and a touchdown on the season. He has been dominating since returning to the offense when he suffered a knee injury earlier in the year. The young receiver is projected to have 13 FPTS this week against the Eagles.

Saquon Barkley, RB, Eagles, ($8,300 DraftKings; $10,000 Fanduel)

Saquon Barkley is having a spectacular season with the Philadelphia Eagles this season. He is one of the top running backs in the NFL leading in rushing and touchdowns. He is a force to be reckoned with these days. Barkley has gone over 25 fantasy points in three of his last six games and is averaging a league-high 22 touches per game.

Barkley had 26 rushing attempts and ran for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game against the Washington Commanders. Barkley is definitely the MVP on the Philadelphia Eagles team this year. His numbers are outstanding this season, and he is a must-start in all fantasy leagues.

Rams vs. Eagles DFS Sit ‘Ems

On the flip side of things, here are a few of the players we are sitting in this one.

DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles, ($6,600 DraftKings; $7,300 Fanduel)

DeVonta Smith has struggled in the past few games for the Eagles. After scoring at least 18 PPR points in both Week 8 and 9, Philly’s No. 2 receiver has combined for a measly 10.3 points over his last two weeks. When Smith doesn’t find the endzone, it is ugly for fantasy owners. It is wise to bench this receiver this week until he can find his game again.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams, ($5,600 DraftKings; $7,100 Fanduel)

The Philadelphia Eagles have not given up many points this season. The Eagles are only allowing sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks on the season. Matthew Stafford could have a very tough time finding the end zone. After all, Philadelphia is only surrendering touchdowns on 46% of their opponents’ red zone trips.

Stafford has only scored 20-plus fantasy points in just five games this season. He has been inconsistent despite both Kupp and Nacua being back in the line-up. The Eagles are a top 10-ranked defense who do not give up many points. They are projected to get 13 FPTS this week. It will be a tough matchup for Stafford this week.

Total Apex Lock of the Game

A.J Brown, WR, Eagles, ($8,700 DraftKings; $8,500 Fanduel)

A.J. Brown is the Philadelphia Eagles’ number one receiver. He will always be a must-start in all fantasy leagues. Even though Brown was a major factor last week against the Commanders, he still managed to get 11.5 FPTS. Brown went 5 of 8 targets for 65 yards in the win against the Washington Commanders.

A.J. Brown will look to have a bigger game this week against the Rams who are ranked 21 in OPP Rank. He is projected to get 17.2 FPTS this week against the Rams. The Eagles will try to continue to roll against the Rams.

Total Apex Fade of the Game

Demarcus Robinson, WR, Rams ($4,600 DraftKings; $5,600 Fanduel)

Demarcus Robinson has been a non-factor in the Rams offense now that Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are back into the lineup. Robinson caught 2 of his 4 targets for 19 yards on Sunday against the Bengals. He would be hard to trust this week against a good Eagles defense.

Conclusion

For this matchup, Saquon Barkley should have no problem against the Ram’s defense this week. Barkley has been having an MVP-type year for the Eagles and is unstoppable. He is a must-start if you have him on your fantasy team. Since the Eagles have a great defense and quarterbacks have struggled against them in the passing game this year, it would be wise to sit Stafford this week. The Philadelphia Eagles are on a six-game winning streak and are on a roll with their offense with Barkley leading the way.
