Dakorien Moore is one of the top-rated wide receivers from the 247 sports list. The Oregan Duck commitment hails from Texas, more specifically Duncanville, Texas at Duncanville High School. Going to the tape there is a bit of a concern about the size of Dakorien Moore as he measures 5ft 11 in and 182 lbs.
Apparently his skills didn’t hear all the haters, as Dakorien Moore has been selected to the All-American Team for Max Preps game, a top 10 player in the nation, and a top 10 wide receiver. Talent can’t be taught, the Ducks have a great program that will only enhance an already elite skill set. The flying V is in this young man’s formation, V for victory as this talented Wide receiver will most assuredly win.
Dakorien Moore as a Player
With over 1,300 yards as a receiver in his high school career, he is just getting warmed up. considering he needs the quarterback to get him the ball, he is making plays not only at the catch but also after the catch yards are quite impressive. It takes a special kind of talent to be a top 10 in the nation player, a top three in 247 sports rankings, and the number 1 ranked wide receiver.
His hands seem to be a combo of Velcro and superglue as he catches anything in his area. His ability to make guys miss in the secondary and after the catch is uncanny. His presence on the field helps improve players around him, which is a valuable asset that the Ducks can most assuredly capitalize on and improve. It will be most intriguing to see Dakorien Moore develop as a player as he reaches new heights with the Oregan Ducks.
Dakorien Moore Devy Outlook
Let us look at Dakorien Moore’s value in Devy leagues, and in very deep, or future Dynasty leagues. Given his current size, it seems Dakorien Moore would fit best in the slot receiver role. Sports Illustrated has an NFL comparison of Odell Beckham Jr. a very talented receiver make no mistake. However, this fantasy guru likens him to Eric Decker, great hands and a safety net check-down option for any quarterback young or veteran.
His speed is already great, but will improve with development from the great Organ Duck offense staff. for those in PPR leagues, it would be a good idea to highlight and circle this young man’s name. As far as draft position goes I would say Dakorein Moore will be a top 5 offensive player off the board. The ceiling will be WR-1 floor WR-5 I just don’t see many options dethroning Dakorien Moore.
