Cooper Dejean was a stud since being inserted into the lineup in 2024 after the Eagles’ Week 5 Bye. He and Quinyon Mitchell were a great rookie combination at Corner that helped the Eagles immensely against the Pass in 2024. His insertion into the starting lineup as the nickel corner instantly transformed the Eagles into the Super Bowl defense that we saw in New Orleans, as the Eagles won 17 of their last 18 games in 2024 after Dejean was inserted into the lineup. He had some value fantasy-wise, but is looking to boost his fantasy value a bit in 2025. Here is the former Iowa Hawkeye’s Fantasy Outlook for the 2025 season.
Cooper Dejean 2024 Production
FantasyData had Dejean at 65.2 fantasy points in his rookie season with 50 tackles, three TFLs, a sack, six passes defended, a forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries in the 2024 season. Dejean would add a special memory in the Super Bowl with his first career interception and pick 6 on his birthday, which was a special occasion, obviously, and had a 13-point fantasy performance in that game. Dejean will look to build on that Super Bowl performance in the 2025 season for more overall fantasy production in his second year.
Cooper Dejean 2025 Projections
Fantasy Pros has Dejean with the following projection: 79.6 tackles, 0.6 sacks, 1.9 interceptions, 0.7 Fumble Recoveries, 0.4 Defesive Touchdowns, 12.5 PD for a total fantasy point projection of 173.8. Meanwhile, ESPN’s Mike Clay ranks him as his 18th-rated corner in fantasy with the following projection: 80 total tackles, three TFLs, 0.6 sacks, 1.9 interceptions, 1.0 Forced Fumble. I can personally see his interception upside at three or four interceptions if other teams test him enough, but I like this projection from Fantasy Pros and Clay for him. I see him getting 150-180 fantasy points this season for the Eagles defense.
Final Thoughts
Cooper Dejean is going to be one of those corners in 2025 fantasy that will be sought after in IDP formats. He is going to have a strong impact on the Eagles’ defense, especially with the full slate of games, barring injury, being available to him this season in the lineup. I think he and Zack Baun are going to be the best fantasy performers on this Eagles defense outside the defensive linemen. Total Apex Fantasy and Bets will have more Fantasy outlooks throughout the offseason.
