We have arrived upon the Conference Championship weekend and on the NFC side, we get an NFC East matchup between the upstart Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles at the Linc for a chance to go to New Orleans. That is amazing for the NFC East in general. Jayden Daniels has had the best rookie season ever for a quarterback but this is a different animal. Playoff football at the Linc has a certain aura about it that road teams have trouble playing there normally. With all of that being said, Here are my DFS Picks for the NFC Championship.
Commanders vs. Eagles DFS Start ‘Ems
Here are a few of the players we are heavily leaning on in this game. These players are in a good spot to have a solid performance and a favorable matchup.
Jalen Hurts ($6,500 Draft Kings, $8,000 FanDuel)
Hurts is coming into this game with a knee injury, so his mobility MAY be limited. I don’t think it will be limited much because he was a Limited participant in the walkthrough on Wednesday, if he was a DNP in the estimation, that would be more concerning. Jalen Hurts is going to ball out this weekend if he’s called upon to do so as he has done in all of the key spots in this postseason thus far.
Jayden Daniels ($7,000 Draft Kings, $8,300 FanDuel)
As I said in the intro, Daniels has had the best rookie quarterback season ever. I would be an idiot not to start him in DFS lineups this weekend as he is the Commanders’ offense. Daniels has to have big numbers for his team to be in this game and I think he could have those numbers. Maybe not 5 touchdowns but probably 2 touchdown passes and a potential rushing touchdown.
Commanders vs. Eagles DFS Sit ‘Ems
On the flip side of things, here are a few of the players we are sitting in this one.
Brian Robinson Jr. ($5,600 Draft Kings, $6,400 FanDuel)
Robinson Jr. is one of those players that is a boom or bust player a lot of the time in fantasy and the two games against Philly demonstrate that point exactly. He had a touchdown in the first meeting in November, but in the game in DC, he was shut down to a tee. The passing game was the reason the Commanders were in that game and won that game in the end. I think Robinson Jr. isn’t going to make that much of an impact in this game.
Total Apex Lock of the Game
Saquon Barkley ($8,600 Draft Kings, $9,800 FanDuel)
Saquon has had an excellent first postseason in Midnight Green, as he is coming off another huge game against the Rams where he had 205 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. This included a 78-yarder in the fourth quarter to provide the winning score essentially with four minutes to go. He has had over 100 yards in each of the Commanders games this season, and Washington just gave up over 200 total yards rushing to the Lions. So HAMMER BARKLEY IN ALL DFS LINEUPS, ESPECIALLY EAGLES FANS!!

Commanders’ Defense ($2,700 Draft Kings, $3,600 FanDuel)
As I just stated, the Commanders cannot stop Saquon Barkley. Their only hope is to contain him, and I don’t think they can on Sunday. Also, if they do try to load up the box to stop Saquon, I think the passing game will get going again, and we will see good days from Smith, Brown, and Goedert. I know they are the budget play of the weekend on both Draft Kings and FanDuel for defenses, but don’t do it. I warned you.
Conclusion
The Eagles have the better team, but the Commanders have the quarterback who is playing hot right now. As I say this I still have faith in the Eagles’ defense to contain Daniels enough to where the Eagles’ offense will control the game with the ground game and Jalen Hurts is going to make some plays in the passing game.
