We have officially arrived at the biggest game of the NFL season: the Super Bowl. This Super Bowl is a rematch of Super Bowl 57 between the Chiefs and Eagles, which was an amazing game between the two teams. The Chiefs won 38-35. This year’s game will be different because of Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. He is the key player in this game and will be featured in this article. Here are the rest of the picks for this Super Bowl DFS.
Chiefs vs. Eagles DFS Start ‘Ems
Here are a few of the players we are heavily leaning on in this game. These players are in a good spot to have a solid performance and a favorable matchup.
Jalen Hurts ($13,500 FanDuel $2M NFL BIG GAME BOWL)
Hurts is coming off the best game of his season from an efficiency standpoint in the passing game in the NFC Championship against the Commanders. After people doubted him to get the passing game working in the National Media, He was able to throw for 246 yards and a touchdown in the air. He also had three rushing touchdowns in the game. He also had one of the best Super Bowl performances of all time against the Chiefs two years ago. I think Hurts will perform at a similar level on Sunday.
Patrick Mahomes ($14,000 FanDuel)
I think Mahomes will be Mahomes on Sunday to a degree. I think he’ll have a decent game that is worthy of a start in the DFS lineup this Super Bowl. Expect Mahomes to look for Travis Kelce early and often in this game as the Eagles did allow a strong performance against Zach Ertz in the NFC Championship. I like Mahomes in DFS this week.
Devonta Smith ($11,000 FanDuel)
Slim Reaper has always had big games against the Chiefs as he’s had three games of around 100 yards per game he averaged 107 receiving yards against the Chiefs in his career thus far including 100 yards in Super Bowl 57. I love Smith in this game as I think the Eagles’ passing game will flourish again against Kansas City.
Chiefs vs. Eagles DFS Sit ‘Ems
On the flip side of things, here are a few of the players we are sitting in this one.
Kareem Hunt ($10,500 FanDuel)
Hunt has no shot of having any meaningful production against this Eagles’ Defense in NOLA. Even though he’s scored in back-to-back playoff games, I think this Eagles defense can stop the run at a high level, and I think Mahomes will have the most rushing yards on the team in this game. Sit Hunt at all costs, especially if Zack Baun keeps playing at this All-Pro level in New Orleans.
Total Apex Lock of the Game
Saquon Barkley ($16,500 FanDuel)
This is the time for my weekly Saquon Barkley gush section. Barkley is coming off a dominant three-touchdown rushing day against the Commanders in the NFC Championship, which included the first play, a 60-yard touchdown. The Chiefs are a tough defense but have allowed both Joe Mixon and James Cook to average over 5 yards per carry in these playoffs thus far. It will be interesting to see this matchup between Barkley and this Chiefs defense in the grand scheme of things.
Total Apex Fade of the Game
Kansas City Defense ($8,000 FanDuel)
The Kansas City Defense is great and has been the best part of this team for the last two seasons, but this Eagles’ Offense has the talent to make them perform worse. I get that Spags is probably the best big game coordinator out there today, but there’s a certain point where the talent takes you over the top. As I mentioned earlier, this defense has been susceptible to the run game this postseason to this point.
Total Apex Media in general is the place to be for the last game of the NFL season with multiple stories on the big game itself, and I also will say that the Eagles will have a great chance of winning the Super Bowl on Sunday. Total Apex Fantasy is also the place to be when it comes to the MLB, and NBA fantasy articles and advice throughout the rest of the calendar year of 2025.
