The Lions head to Arizona hoping for a different outcome after losing to the Bucs last week. The Cardinals have gotten off to a strong start this season with a great offensive showing in their loss to the Bills to open the season, as well as embarrassing the division rival Rams last week winning 41-10. Will the Cardinals’ offense continue to roll or will Dan Campbell’s Lions upset the Cardinals in their own house?
Cardinals vs. Lions DFS Start ‘Ems
http://gty.im/2172185765
Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions ( DraftKings $13.5K, FanDuel $12.5K)
Goff has had a fantastic start to the season, highlighted by his performance in last week’s loss to the Bucs when he completed 34 passes for 307 yards. Unfortunately for Goff, he threw 0 touchdowns and two interceptions en route to that loss. This week going to Arizona, Goff will have to pass a lot to keep up with the high-octane Cardinals offense. There should be plenty of fantasy points to go around in what looks to be a high-scoring affair.
Marvin Harrison Jr, WR, Arizona Cardinals ( DraftKings $15.6K, FanDuel $14K)
Kyler Murray and Harrison finally got on the same page last week when Harrison caught four passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. This connection should only get stronger as Harrison only caught 50 percent of the passes thrown his way. If he can change that to 75 percent of his passes caught he is one of the top receivers in the league.
Cardinals vs Lions DFS Sit ‘Ems
Trey McBride, TE, Arizona Cardinals ( DraftKings $12K, FanDuel $10.5K)
McBride was one of the top tight ends coming into the season, but that hasn’t come to fruition through two weeks. The focus has been on first-round draft pick Marvin Harrison Jr, and rightly so. While McBride is still the second target for Murray in the passing game, the offense still runs through Harrison and Connor.
Sam LaPorta, TE, Detroit Lions ( DraftKings $10.5K, FanDuel $9.5K)
LaPorta has had a rough start to the season as the passing game for the Lions has primarily run through Jameson Wiliams. LaPorta is second on the team in targets though which is promising, but he and Goff haven’t been on the same page thus far. While LaPorta’s workload is going to increase as the season progresses, he shouldn’t be started in DFS until he starts to produce results.
Total Apex Lock of the Game
Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals ( DraftKings $16.2K, FanDuel $15K)
Murray has gotten off to a great start this season. He has thrown for 428 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions through the first two games. This game very well may turn into a shoot-out on Sunday which will lead to plenty of fantasy points for the Cardinals quarterback.
Total Apex Fade of the Game
Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions ( DraftKings $12.6K, FanDuel $10K)
Williams has gotten off to a strong start this season which is due to his strong performance in week 1 where he had five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown. He continued the strong start in week 2 catching five balls for 79 yards. he is due for a drop-off as he can’t continue to average 20 yards per reception. Williams has capitalized on defenses focusing on LaPorta and St. Brown but that won’t last.
