Cade Klubnik led the Clemson Tigers to a surprise CFP appearance after a great 2024. Now that the season is coming to an end, it’s never too early to start looking towards the 2025 season. With that being said, the logical starting point is to begin looking at what quarterbacks project to be high-producing fantasy options. Clemson QB Cade Klubnik could be THE top quarterback heading into 2025.
A former five-star recruit, Cade Klubnik took over as the Clemson starting quarterback during his freshman season in 2022. Klubnik sat behind DJ Uiagalelei for the majority of the season but was inserted as the starter in the ACC championship game. In his first full season as Clemson’s starter, Klubnik threw for 2,844 yards and 19 touchdowns. Many within the college fantasy football space began labeling Klubnik as a disappointment, as he finished as the overall QB33 in 2023. Then came the 2024 season.
Cade Klubnik 2024 Production and Fantasy Output
Klubnik finished his best season of his career with 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns while completing 63.4% of his passes. He added 463 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. He led the Tigers to the ACC Championship and a surprise berth in the College Football Playoff.
Klubnik ended the season as the overall QB4 in CFF. After a disappointing 2023 season, he became much more of a leader and utilized the young and talented receiving corps. Not only did he finish third in the ACC in passing yardage and second in passing touchdowns, but he also finished third among ACC QBs in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.
Cade Klubnik 2025 Fantasy Outlook
He has already announced he will return for his senior season. Klubnik finished his junior season as the overall QB4 in college fantasy football. He will enter his senior season as one of the top quarterbacks in the country. If he can take a step forward in completion percentage, Klubnik could be a major contender for the 2025 Heisman Trophy.
With Antonio Williams, Bryant Wesco, and TJ Moore set to return, Clemson could have one of the best passing attacks in the country. Clemson will also be expecting to return four of their five starting offensive linemen. The Tigers should be predicted to finish atop the ACC in 2025 and also be looked at as a national title contender.
