Bo Horvat Career Production

Bo Horvat was selected 9th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. The Canucks traded Goalie Corey Schneider to the New Jersey Devils to acquire the pick to draft Horvat.

Bo Horvat made his NHL Debut with the Canucks during the 2014-15 season in November. That season he would put up 13 goals and 25 points in 68 games. Horvat was even better in the playoffs that season putting up 4 points in 6 games during the Canucks 1st round loss to the Calgary Flames.

2017 was an eventful year for Horvat, with him making the 2017 All-Star Game, tallying 13 goals and 29 points up to that point, the youngest Canucks player to make the All-Star Game since Trevor Linden. Horvat was named an alternate captain in March of that year as well, but he lost the role but gained it back in the 2018-19 season.

Bo Horvat ended the 2016-17 with 20 goals, 32 assists, and 52 points, setting career highs in every category up to that point. That earned Horvat a 6-year, $33 million contract extension worth a $5.5 million AAV.

In 2019, Bo Horvat was named the Captain of the Vancouver Canucks, then the 14th Captain in Vancouver Canucks history.

In 2023, he was traded to the New York Islanders, in exchange for Anthony Beauvillier, Aatu Raty, and a conditional first-round pick for 2023, Horvar was having a monster season, he had already matched his career high of 31 goals set in the previous season through only 49 games at the time he was traded.
